Even though the parking is problematical at the South Barre Post Office I go there because I always get good service and the clerk is very friendly. I needed postcard stamps for "save the date" cards for my mother's celebration of life and they are quite difficult to find. They had some lovely ones with sailboats on them and, as always, the clerk was friendly and helpful.

They don't accept any cards, it has been for a while the system is not working. They just accept cash.

The postmaster makes everyone feel like they are her best friend. I travel from another town just so I can mail my packages in a post office that treats me with respect and dignity.
