In 1972, I was 16, and my parents were moving us from my wonderful Maine home to Ohio. We made a stop at the Bennington factory because my mother had a dream. She bought service for 8 and some serving pieces. My sister and I were each allowed to pick out a bowl and a cup for ourselves. The dishes were used every day and eventually it was no longer a service for 8, but I got those beautiful serving pieces. Fast forward 50 years and I never got over those dishes. My husband arranged for the arrival of four boxes this morning, packed to survive a lunar landing. I am attaching pictures of the 51 year old baking and serving pieces, along with my new dishes and the mountain of packing materials. Bennington staff, you are amazing, and thank you for making my dream come true!”
