All gas pumps bagged and out of order, yet made no indication from the road (including leaving price sign up). Perhaps you should take down those numbers with the same gusto that you continually raise them?

I don't like leaving bad reviews but I think it's important that I leave this one so that this business makes sure it pays more attention and educate themselves. I work in customer service and have had to comply with many changes at my place of employment due to the covid-19 pandemic and my employer makes sure to continue to daily check for new changes and regulations. I was refused the sale of cigarettes due to my license being expired. It's not that I haven't renewed my license, I did it 2 weeks prior to it expiring to avoid issues like the one I had today but it's been 8 weeks and I still not received my new one. I do not look like I am under 18 or close to it I am 38 years old but the employee working clearly wanted to give me a difficult time and yes he can say he has the right to refuse a sale to anyone but he really had no reason to. The employee told me that he was not allowed to except it and all the other businesses that had been excepting my I.D. were breaking the law even though I explained that it's not the case and the manager who he spoke to agreed with him. I do understand he was trying to train a new employee but unfortunately he should be aware of the correct information about excepting I.D. prior to training anyone. The business has not been keeping up on law and regulation changes during the covid-19 outbreak and I wonder how many other regulations they are not following because they haven't bothered to take the responsibility to educate themselves. So just so management and employees are aware you can except a expired VT I.D. and it was a order issued by the governor back on March 13, 2020 due to the DMV being closed.Further more the governor actually extended the order on August 25, 2020 so that I.D.s that are expired are valid 90 days past their expiration date. All of this information can be found on the state of Vermont's website amongst other useful information and I hope that management takes the time to educate themself and the employees.
