Rented a small trailer to take some furniture to Branson MO. Had a wonderful drive with no issues. David was more than helpful, had checked over trailer and although busy really seems to love his job and helping people. Thanks Dave!

Last minute request - great customer service let me reserve with just a name and phone number while I sorted things out. Reserved on the same day had truck ready within a hour to get there. Clean and everything was ready when I arrived just finalized payment and id.

Friendly, helpful service and a great van! It was my first time renting a UHaul and the folks here were great about explaining the rates and key return. The vehicle was spotless and much easier to drive than I expected. Furniture pads are 100% worth the minimal extra charge. Will absolutely go here again next time I need to move something that won't fit in my hatchback.

I originally went here for a trailer hitch install before moving across country. The install was fine and I rented a trailer for the move. Fast forward a year and my breaks go out on my vehicle. I get towed to the local dealership and after $125 I discover that the break fuse was blown because of the shoddy wiring installed for the trailer hitch. It was just lengths of spare wiring lashed together with electrical tape and end caps. After several months of inquiries and phone calls I get a response. They are arranging for the wiring to be reinstalled by a local U-Haul at no cost. But no compensation was provided for missing a couple hours from work, tow truck fees and the fee for Toyota to figure out why my breaks stopped working and remove the faulty wiring.

This five star review is based on the painless return of a 15' truck rented for a one way haul from out of town. I pulled up at about 930am just as one of the workers was arriving in his personal car. He asked me if I had the keys and I gave them to him and he said he'd take care of everything, which he did. I was actually a little concerned at first I mean what if I'd just handed the keys to some random stranger who'd just pulled up but this was in fact a u-haul staff member and all went well. I got the truck in Los Angeles at 9:50am two days prior but the worker at the Crenshaw L.A. u-haul had put down 9am as the start for the rental despite my pointing out that it was closer to 10am but here at this u-haul in Escondido the worker accepted it at 9:30am no sweat didn't say a thing which is another reason for the five star review. I also returned a dozen moving blankets I'd rented. Signs stated these needed to be folded to avoid a charge but the female worker inside told me not to worry about it which I'd already folded them fairly well already anyway. As far as truck rentals I found that u-haul is a better deal than Penske which is why I chose them. This rental worked out fine in the end no issues. When I got the truck it had 5/16 of a tank of gas which was hard to approximate how much gas to fill for the 100 mile plus drive in order to return it at the same level but I managed by estimating what I needed to add based on nine or so miles per gallon. It would've been easier if the truck had simply been handed to me with a full tank but anyway it worked out and the issue of not getting a full tank of gas was with the pickup u-haul location on Crenshaw in Los Angeles not with this drop off u-haul.

RayRay helped me in my time of need. He was able to help me upgrade my trailer last minute and helped me hitch the trailer.
