im taking the time to write this review because this employee needs to be recognized for her outstanding help she gives me when at the east credit union , in bennington, vermont office, (dustie sweet ) , shes very good at what she does and the eastrise credit union should feel very lucky to have her as an enployee there, she goes above and beyond to be very nice and courteous. thank you dusty !!

This is still a great bank except they were unable to solve my Authenticator app issue in connection to get into my mobile/digital banking.

Applied for a solar loan, and in just a few days I was approved and the paperwork was handled professionally. I was very happy I went to VSECU, and would recommend getting a loan there. Very curtious staff, and excellent customer service.

VSECU has been great to do business with. The staff has always been friendly and helpful on those occasions when I've had to call.Though we moved across the country, we've kept it as our main banking site, despite having local credit union options That should tell you somelthing.

Called 3 times to get pre-approval for a loan. Every time I was told I would receive a call back to do so. Never received a call, still waiting. It's been 2 weeks since first call.

Would give VSECU zero stars if that was available. Applied for a loan for solar panels in early August. Two days later was told that most likely we didn't qualify but they would get back to us. After a number of emails and calls, it took 28 days for the denial. While we are a bit surprised by the decision, we are upset at the length of time involved. They new after 2 days the outcome and wasted our time for over 3 weeks. Not sure who they approve loans for but guessing it is folks that really don't need them. I'd like to say that this is an example of terrible customer service but then they never viewed us as a customer to begin with.

I LOVE this Credit Union. I have been a member my whole life, and do all of my banking there as well as my home mortgage (low rate!), credit card, car loan, and utilize the services of their financial planning specialist. They are friendly, know my name , and genuinely care. I especially love their commitment to the environment and community with their VGreen Loans, clean energy programs, and community service. I will not bank anywhere else, even if they were to advertise slightly lower interest rates, as to me, local friendly professional and efficient customer service surpasses all.

Completely useless. Tried to force me to place a collision insurance policy on an eleven year old car that wasn't even being financed, and refused me a simple $1000 loan. Thankfully, this sad excuse for a "credit union" showed the white feather early and revealed itself as exactly the kind of financial institution I aim to avoid. Someone else got my business instead, and VSECU continued doing what they do best, which is to lose business. Fail.
