Very helpful staff. Did not understand the dosing directions of new Nasal inhaler med. Richard took the time to assist me and explain it to me. Very helpful as always. Alex is wonderful and great with super customer service too. My go-to pharmacy!!

I ended up extending my visit to Vermont by one day, so I needed to get a few more needles for my insulin pen. It's not about having a problem with the pharmacy requiring a prescription, as much as having a big problem with the rude and dismissive pharmacist. He barely looked at me as he turned me away and did not offer any advice or recourse for how to get these extremely essential items. If you're going to work in any aspect of healthcare, you should probably care just a little bit about people and their health, especially if they are coming to you for professional guidance. Gross and unacceptable.

Run away from this pharmacy. The pharmacist on duty never notified when is when our child’s urgent prescription was ready. He was playing death metal on a speaker behind the counter riddled with swears, was the most rude person I have ever met and would not trust him to do any prescriptions. Will NEVER return. If I could leave a Zero I would. This should be brought to the attention of management. Transaction was at 7:20pm on 6/7/24.

The customer service at Shawn's in Berlin is atrocious, absolutely dismal. Today a guy came unglued on one of the cashiers, and, in my opinion, it was well deserved. We waited in line for an inordinate amount of time while the cashier yapped and yapped and yapped with another customer who she apparently knew. We waited in line for at least 20 minutes while this gabfest was going on. Shawn's, I'm aware that staffing is a problem these days but you know what? That shouldn't be the customers problem. Get a manager on the floor who will actually manage your people and put some effort into customer service. We're all stuck paying exorbitant, inflationary prices, we shouldn't have to put up with crappy customer service too.

I like all things at shaws except that I saw a young man loading his cart with wood at shaws. I don’t know if he was going winter camping or maybe ran out of wood to heat his home, but the wood was all rotten and covered in black mold. I encouraged him to go to agway as they have some and I couldnt think of anywhere else to get it right now. Rotten wood doesn’t produce as much heat, it can gum up your chimney and inhaling black mold and some other types of mold is bad for your health. I told an employee at Shaws about this over the summer as they kept leaving it out in the rain and I was told they had to sell it and could not get more until it was all gone.

I called Shaw’s yesterday from Pennsylvania to order a cake for my son’s 21st birthday. Joann from the bakery was fabulous and the Store Manager provided superior customer service to meet my request. Thank you so much for helping to make my son’s special day even better!!! I highly recommend Shaw’s for any of your grocery/bakery needs!!!

No gloves but wore mask at checkout and all in store people had mask while shopping. People were nice but big surprise bring your own bags and pack them yourselves. I will shop elsewhere from now on..
