They have a lot of desirable qualities and upheld a standard for a while, by a while I mean decades. Good Bakery, Deli, Seafood and meat departments and even a sushi chef. Floral Department seems to come with its own very dedicated lady. Home town customer service with a classy feel. They are right next to The Edward F. Knapp Airport (the airport in Berlin, Vermont). However, just this week I noticed all of their ceiling tiles are very stained. I hope they will replace them. Definitely, detracting from everything. I don’t know if they are on a downward slope or not… I hope not.

Good. Always clean and neat. If I were to give any criticism, it would be to have their fried chicken more available after work hours. There has been a few times I have gone in after work (4pm) for something quick and easy, and it has been sold out.

Quick run in for a bite to eat. Easy to find. Located right near the Comfort Inn as well. Store has it all and then some.

Everything is clean and they have a wonderful selection of everything you need. The 3 star us for the staff. Last 3 times i have been in there. There workers complain about their job and talk loudly to each other about drama between staff. Last encounter i had...the female worker was coursing out loud as she worked alone putting product on the shelves...just doesn't seem like they understand that they are the image and walking billboard of shaws.

Clean store. Helpful associates in the isle. I asked the person behind the deli if she could make me a salad with no carrots. She huffed and said No that’s not possible. Seems strange.

5 stars because: good selection of products; the shelves were well stocked. It’s clean. There were ample checkout’s open and the checkout process was FAST! Wide selection of cheeses. The aisles were clear of obstacles. They have a pharmacy. They have a butcher block. There’s plenty of parking. Both the store and parking lot look well maintained.

The Berlin store has taken away the smaller, easier to navigate the ever shrinking aisle space, carts and are not bringing them back. I guess to Price Chopper down the road cares more what their customer's than Shaw's.
