Not the closest hardware store to me but will be my go to from now on. Super helpful, great prices and an old school feeling in the best possible way. They don't make places like this any more unfortunately. Wish i had found it sooner.

The store is organized and clean, the Owner/Manager is knowledgable and competent about what they sell and is friendly and helpful with solving problems. They have the best selection of Milwaukee Tools within 25 miles. I LOVE Milwaukee!?Mills manages their inventory by offering what people really need, instead of what has the highest profit margin. Bethel is lucky to have this business in the community.

Owners name is Brad he's a great guy has a large variety of things and if he dosent have what you need can usely find something that will work or get you some were that can ery honest guy

3 stars because I'm a reasonable person.The store has most of your small business and or hobby hardware needs and meets their customers demands for the most part I think. However... the owner has been rude to me on several occasions for no other reason then my appearance it would seem.. the first time I walked in, he was pleasant "not really helpful" but I wasn't in need of assistance. Every single time I visited the store since was not a very good experience. He would talk to me as if I were stupid, act like a smarta$$ and make unnecessary comments as if I were an inconvenience to him by asking minor questions about in store products available. He came off as miserable and thought highly of him self. After the last visit, I no longer spend my money here. Customer service goes a long way with every day regular folks.

I called Mills Hardware based on this business being listed on Efficiency Vermont's website as a pellet dealer/ installer. I asked the person whom answered the phone to speak to someone about pellet stoves, and was told they're not a pellet stove dealer. I told them that's fine, but they should be aware that they're listed on Efficiency Vermont's website as a dealer. The person I spoke with said it sounds like Efficiency Vermont's error and proceeded to hang up on me. Very rude. Will never do business with this company based on this interaction.

Brad at Mills Hardware is a fantastic guy. Everything he sells is priced closely to the bigger stores but with small town service. His inventory of Milwaukee tools is better than any other small town hardware store and he will custom order anything in their catalog and he charges what Home Depot does. I have had multiple special orders of the last year. I love this place and the customer service can't be beat! Shop local!

Huge assortment of items and amazingly well stocked. I have been renovating my house and this store has been a huge asset. Other hardware stores in the area don't seem to understand when most people actually shop at hardware stores. This store is open every day and the service is great. If you live in the area I recommend you pay them a visit the next time you need something. You'll be glad you did!

Wasn't wearing a mask as I was approached by the owner face-to-face at the front of the store. The inventory? Not sure, and not willing to risk my life to find out. Publicly asks others to wear a mask, as I was, but in this instance, he wasn't.
