Just moved here 5/24 and building my wardrobe quick with quality items far below goodwill prices. It’s not a huge selection but always worth stopping in!

Although this little shop is in the old rectory of the Episcopal church, it is not run by the church, nor does it benefit the church per se. The money the shop goes to programs and events in the surrounding community. The selection of merchandise is constantly changing, always interesting, and always great prices. The shop is clean and bright, and the volunteers are cheerful and helpful. They are committed to keeping things out of the landfill, and to that end, they have a selection of free clothing and other items on the porch. Nifty thrifty is a vibrant part of the community.
This is a place that I will visit before the long trip to Rutland or Middlebury for shopping. Bring small bills because you don't have to spend a lot to get something nice.

Nifty Thrifty is the best thrift shop around! The volunteers are always kind and welcoming to all who enter. I can always find something interesting and never leave empty handed. It’s very well organized and easy to find the various sections. They are constantly receiving new donations so it’s like going into a new store with fresh merchandise each time I shop. The prices are the best! They definitely focus on making sure the items are priced so that anyone who enters can find something that is affordable. Thank You Nifty Thrifty for creating such a fun, interesting, affordable & welcoming store for all who enter. A truly wonderful asset for our community.

Love this little thrift store that supports local charities. Run by the sweetest volunteers, I can always rely on finding something great for super reasonable prices at Nifty Thrifty. Especially love their seasonal sales!
