Loved our stay at the Brandon Inn. Sid was friendly and very helpful. My nieces bridal shower was perfect, and the Friday evening entertainment and bartender were OUTSTANDING!

Brandon Inn is iconic like stepping into history. With its self check in and out process it’s tough to rate service (I did a great job🤣). Thought I did have quick responses to questions I had via email. Nice breakfast and relaxing pool area. Definitely worth the reasonable rate.

It was such a pleasure to stay at this historic inn! The staff was very accommodating to the needs of our group. The rooms are extremely clean, comfortable, and so nicely decorated. The food was excellent. The area shops were wonderful to explore and the town, right outside the door, was perfect for nice walks. I would love to stay here again.

Located in a great spot in a cute Vermont town. I think if you like to ride motorcycles in a country setting. You’d love this. It’s a great place to stay. It’s simple, clean and harkens back to an older time. Don’t expect too much. Just embrace its simplicity.

I was here in their low season. This is a very old building that’s on the National Historic Register. It must be a lot to maintain, and it seems they are sort of holding it together. When I got into my room it was about 45F inside. There are new heat pumps in all the rooms that are great, but mine wasn’t in pre-arrival so I froze for a while until it warmed up.
The rooms are quite basic, but clean. The wifi isn’t great and my room didn’t have a desk so I had to do some work awkwardly from the bed, but it was fine. If you need to work, request a room with a desk.
Self-check in worked fine, although my door struggled to lock when I left the room. The sensor didn’t always work and it threw the deadbolt at the wrong time.
The lobby had an overwhelming smell of what resembled Axe deodorant the first couple days , but thankfully that faded.
Breakfast is free and ready early. It was a basic spread of bagels, breads, cereals and fruit. Coffee and tea are available all day. The staff is nice, but I only saw 2 people there the whole time.
Overall it’s a pretty, basic, old lodge with a lot of character that is great for families. Not fancy but it is charming!

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Vermont – The Brandon Inn
Nestled in the picturesque town of Brandon, Vermont, this historic inn has old-world charm, warmth and comfort. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with excellent hospitality that made me feel right at home.
The inn itself is stunning—filled with beautiful antique furnishings, elegant décor, and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and had a charming vintage feel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of skiing and traveling.
Beyond the inn, the location is ideal for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Vermont. It’s just a short stroll to the town’s quaint shops, art galleries, and delightful cafés. Plus, the surrounding Green Mountains provide endless opportunities for hiking, biking, and skiing.
Sid, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. His attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and genuine passion for hospitality make this place stand out. Whether you're visiting for a family vacation, or even a wedding (the space would be an awesome venue), The historic Brandon Inn is a perfect choice.
I can’t recommend this charming inn enough. If you’re looking for a quintessential Vermont experience filled with warmth, history, and impeccable service, The Brandon Inn is the place to be. I’ll definitely be returning!

Nothing but great things to say about this Inn and the owner. The whole experience was perfect for our ski group, very cool vibes as you walk around the lobby floor hanging out in all the different areas. The rooms are warm, very comfortable and clean. Not a thing was missing, coffee available at all times, well stocked breakfast choices, etc. My highlight was the historical, well-appointed bar where we l had a very enjoyable conversation about anything and everything including the owner's expectations of all the fine details to perfect this Inn. Highly recommended!!! I will be going back.

Review:
Our stay was extremely unpleasant. The hotel is severely understaffed, which resulted in poor service throughout our visit. We had no hot water and couldn’t shower during our entire stay. Despite bringing these issues to management’s attention, they seemed indifferent and made no effort to resolve our concerns. Their lack of care for guests was disappointing. We will never book this place again and cannot recommend it to others.

We had a delightful stay at the Brandon Inn. The place is full of character and we loved our room on the fourth floor, where we had tall ceilings and big, light-filled windows. It was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed our meal at 22 Park Eatery directly next door, as well as exploring some great local shops and historic buildings.

So not an employee to be found upon check in or after . No heat . All the amenities listed were not even open. Bar, cafe, restaurant. Nothing . Not a soul to be found. Just a text message on how to get into your ice cold , musty smelling room. Not impressed for 300 dollars for one night. Pretty much worst experience ever. And it smells horrible. I should probably go sleep in my truck if it wasn’t 18 degrees outside. Could be an amazing place if anyone actually worked here. But nope nothing open and not a soul to be found. Just a note that said they were doing errands. From 3 to midnight?? And not an a listed amenity open. Bad
