The Brattleboro Museum & Art Center is a vibrant non-collecting contemporary art museum focused on the work of living artists. It is an anchor of southern Vermont’s rich cultural life. The museum presents 15-20 exhibitions annually in a former railroad station, with displays that are invariably interesting, very unique, and top of the line. Exhibits feature notable and great contemporary art, including creative works like glass art based on children's ideas. It is not a large museum, so everything can be seen at a leisurely pace. Entry is pay what you can with a suggested donation. The staff is friendly, lovely, and engaging. The museum also provides a platform for the region’s artistic talents through many public programs and educational offerings. It is definitely worth stopping in for a visit.
Phenomenal exhibition in hosting the domino toppling extravaganza. So much fun and well staffed.
