The Vermont Marketplace, formerly known as the Brattleboro Outlet Center, is a revitalized retail space that has high expectations for the city of Brattleboro. Located just off the highway, it offers easy access and a great little pause for travelers on the I-91. The interior has been refreshed with new restrooms, and the exterior will undergo a transformation to give it an old-barn feel, nestled in the heart of Vermont. This hidden gem boasts a variety of exciting shops, including the Vermont Gift Emporium, which showcases a joy-filled selection of locally crafted products. There are also at least two places to eat, and the Northeast Mountain Footwear store, a main draw for many visitors. The transformation of the marketplace has been impressive, with cool shops and restaurants now filling the space. Customers praise the new facade, the hidden restaurant/pub, and the terrific shops for gifts, natural health products, and a great selection of children's and adult shoes and accessories. The Vermont Gift Emporium, in particular, is a highlight, offering a wide range of handcrafted items by talented local artisans.
Needed a place to pee and ended up finding a bunch of gifts to bring home to loved ones. A nice unexpected stop!

Stopped by for lunch on our way to a long weekend vacation. Good food and good shopping.

A hidden gem, several shops in here I never knew existed. Vermont Gift Emporium was a joy to shop in with lots of locally crafted products. There are least two places to eat and, of course Northeast Mountain Footwear for shoes, the main reason I went there.
