Stayed here for New Years Eve with my wife so we could attend the Strange Ones Ball at Stone Church. Makayla was super friendly and helpful with our reservation and check in. Enjoy the coffee bar and Disney Instrumental tunes in the lobby!
Rooms: Most have original fixtures in bath and original dressers in room, very cool!
Nearby activities: Convenient to everything in downtown Brattleboro, food co-op, restaurants, stone church music venue and much more
Noteworthy details: Very cool historic art deco building that smells like delicious popcorn from attached theatre!

Great hotel. Staff are amazing. It is a bit dated but that’s the charm of a historic building right?
Walkability: You can’t beat the location. You’ll be right downtown in the heart of it all.

Best hotel in Brattleboro. Retro / rad vibes! Amazing customer service! GM Amy was top notch in giving great suggestions for food & local attractions. Cannot get this level of customer service at the local competition.
Bonus: they have cribs for the littles!

This is a very old hotel. However, it has been well maintained and the staff was excellent! Don't forget to enjoy the music on the record player !

Unique historic building kept in pristine shape. In the center of an artsy historic town. Each room comes with a turntable and historic LPs in various genres. Clean, friendly and sublimely hip. Great place! Fine restaurants within a block. Also modern conveniences like TV and a, yes, beautiful and, of course, historic art deco movie theater with quality and popular films. Love it. Has an elevator too!
Rooms: See above.
Nearby activities: See above.
Safety: Safer than most towns.
Walkability: Very walkable.
Food and drinks: Nice places.
Noteworthy details: Two blocks from the train station.

I had always wanted to stay in an old, downtown hotel. Bingo! The hotel was clean and comfortable. The coffee in the lobby was always available. The light in the large room was nice, as were the clean, fresh linens. Some of the furniture was outdated...fine with me. The bathroom was roomy with a wonderful bathtub. The lady at the desk was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the stay!!!

Dated but nice. Had a phonograph in my room with old jazz albums. Friendly, helpful service.

Not a bad place to stay in Brattleboro if you are a deep sleeper. We had a pretty horrible night of sleep due to the stiff and squeaky bed and the loud doors in the hallway. Great views, cool atmosphere.
Walkability: Easy walk to anywhere in Brattleboro

Excellent everything at the Latchis Hotel: Staff, room, location, cleanliness, decor, vibes.
Our room with mountain view did indeed have a beautiful view, but if you want a quieter room (A LOT of street traffic noise on this side), ask for a room on the back side of the hotel.

This hotel was nice. Everyone was very nice except for the employee named Shawna. She appeared to be under the influence of something and really creeped me and my family out. I highly suggest drug testing your employees. She was also incredibly rude. Due to our experience, we will not be returning. I definitely didn’t feel safe knowing she had potential access to my room.

Fun old art Deco hotel above an old theater. Rooms are decent enough, clean, and have an old record player with an assortment of records which was kind of neat. Conveniently located in the center of town walking distance to shops and restaurants. Worth a nights visit

The staff was great, and rooms were not gross. I appreaciate that the building, at least in the lobby, is not cookie-cutter. But once you leave the lobby, the hallways are sad, with pipes running along the ceiling and grey paint. And our room had windows that were so dirty that we did not bother to ever close the blinds, despite being on the 2nd floor on the street side of the building. Overall the stay here was pleasant, but not anything to write home about.
