Retreat Farm is a free, all-outdoor experience open to everyone from dawn to dusk. It is a lovely and well-maintained place to unwind and explore for half a day or more. Visitors can see animals on pasture, including goats and oxen, and explore miles of well-kept trails with new interpretive signs and art installations. The nature playground, slackline, and gardens are popular, especially with families. The farm often hosts community events like food truck roundups with live music and cuisine. It is a perfect location to spend time in nature, conveniently located next to a cheese shop. As a non-profit, it is definitely worth a visit and a donation to keep this excellent place alive and buzzing.
One of our favorite places to visit as a family. They have beautiful trails for hiking. They have animals and a mud kitchen for the little ones. Lastly they have wonderful events for the whole family throughout the year. We love this place.

They have done a great job with the trails, renovations, and upkeep of this place. It's a lovely place to come for the day.

We visit at least yearly from MA. Our 5 kids love it here. We’ve enjoyed ice cream, lemonade, exploring the trails, seeing the animals especially Carlos) and most of all the nature playground. We can easily spend half a day here exploring. There’s usually a food truck parked too. Definitely worth a visit!
