My partner and his daughter reserved their room for a ski trip through a third party website. He called the day before to confirm the room was paid in full. Upon arrival they wanted to run a card for $100 security deposit. I understand why they do this but it wasn't mentioned before hand. My partner is a bit old fashioned and doesn't like credit cards. He only has a debt card. He withdrew money for this trip. His debt card declined. They refused to accept a cash deposit, REFUSED TO LET ME CALL AND COVER THE SECURITY DEPOSIT ON MY CARD (stating policy was i must be present) and would not issue a refund or any form of receipt confirming they we refusing them access to the room because of the security deposit (so they could pursue a refund from the other company) The man at the counter was rude and unaccommodating. They had to drive several hours home in a snowstorm and miss the second day of skiing. There is absolutely no reason I shouldn't have been able to cover the security deposit. The point is if the room is damaged you get paid. Why does it matter who's card it is!? And it was a grown man and his kid checking in, not a bunch of partying College kids or anything. Absolutely ridiculous

A small inn in Vermont. Small room, quite clean, has changed owner last year, a convenient location to Mount snow, about 45 minutes drive. The room is becoming quite uncomfortable at night, cause the green light on the fire alarm becomes very strong at night when all other lights are off. The refrigerator also makes a weird sound and you would notice it at night because it's making you hard to fall asleep.Otherwise price for the basics.

It met all of my expectations, it was clean, nice staff, and was located near the bus stop.

Staff is terrible, a lot of communication concerns and lacking some major social skills but rooms are clean location is good.

The staff was cordial enough to make our check-in flexible after our flight was delayed. I wish the breakfast had more variations.Rooms: The rooms were clean.

Idk what people expect? This was the cheapest place we stayed on our fall foliage trip. The price of hotels has skyrocketed! This place was 109 plus tax. The front desk was very pleasant. Our room didn't smell at all. The bed was comfy and I slept great. Had a problem with the toilet but employee was helpful. Good experience overall.

The only complaint was the locals that are allowed to hang out drink and smoke in the back. One night they did it until 9pm or 10pm which was late for us. Didn't think to ask the staff to ask them to keep it down which i thought of after my vacation was done. Other than that it was pretty good. NICE STAFF! They are great people, and hard working. The free breakfast was decent. Location is ok as well. The place is a little hidden i drove by it the first time. But that was a me issue ?. I would stay again for a few days.Rooms: Room were very clean only issue was the tub was dirty.Nearby activities: Very close to Brattleboro center. Easy to travel to activities and covered bridges.

The room was clean, comfortable, and at a good price for passing through the town. Smelled a little musty, but the AC cleared it out quickly. It had a microwave and mini fridge. Walking distance to some fast food places/restaurants and a few minutes' drive to downtown.

Clean king size room. Bed was comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave were in the room. Nothing fancy. Convenient location, fast food next door, close to stores and other restaurants.

Nice place to stay while passing through Brattleboro. Room was recently renovated, nicer than expected. Interior hallway not as recently -- smelled of cigarette smoke -- and outside looks a bit dated but they seem to be working on that. Room was clean and comfortable. If upstairs noise might bother you, ask for a second floor room. A bit stingy on the toilet paper.

I Left a day early. I called the hotel to ask to put the refund for the last night on my credit card. The hotel policy states free cancelation on my booking confirmation.I was exhausted and wanted some good sleep. Every morning I hear the hotel staff conversing through the halls loudly about what they did after work yesterday or whatever they were talking about. No sleep for me with this loud noise! The place needs updating. It is dingy and has odor. The complimentary breakfast is packaged stuff that I dont eat and the coffee was always empty. I rate it a medium-low on cleanliness. The parking lot was scary at night. Lot’s of people out socializing drinking beer at their vehicles. I was scared walking to the Wendy’s and McD’s both right next door.
During my 1st call for a refund the guy hung up on me. A few weeks later i called back again starting with “don’t hang up this time” and i explained the above and ask if the solution could be a refund. He said he had work to do and hung up on me again!

This place is definitely a hidden gem!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and bathroom(that says alot). You won't be sorry staying here and when I am back in VT this is where we r staying again! Try it!Rooms: Very clean and organized. Everything was in the room needed!Nearby activities: There are many main roads and highways, gas stations and restaurants surrounding this area in Brattleboro..Walkability: Plenty of parking space and they will help you if you are struggling with any luggageFood & drinks: Plenty of eateries and fast food places in and around this motel..Noteworthy details: The staff I believe are family and extremely friendly. They will go out of their way to help you.
