Not a big company thus you are treated like you matter. Professional and polite. They offer almost all the same products that you would receive from a large institution, but you can talk to live persons who are friendly! Wouldn't bank with anyone else. Except another credit union.

From the moment we joined, we knew we'd made the right decision to become members of VSECU. We started our business with their help, got a HELOC, bought a car, sorted out finances and received the help we needed, when COVID struck, that we needed without our even asking. We have had help at nearly every turn with every challenge we've encountered financially. The service is excellent, the people we have dealt with, both in Brattleboro and beyond, has been above and beyond, when treating us like human beings, ANY bank (including supposed 'small town' banks) we've ever used/encountered. I cannot recommend VSECU enough.

We've used VSECU for a few different loans now, and the process has NEVER gone smoothly. We know it can be done differently, because we have used other lenders many times over the years. Our current attempt to buy a house (our 5th, though this is the first through VSECU) has been looooong exercise in frustration. Communication is poor, and often comes with attitude. We won't be using them again.

I recently opened an account as I was moving into the area. They refused to accept the online transfer of funds from my bank, then held the funds hostage from 8/14 until 8/31. When I called on 8/27 to ask them to please process, they simply told me no. Zero consideration of the fact that it is MY money. As soon as the funds are available, I will withdraw them and move to another financial institution.

I needed help obtaining an auto loan with a family member. I found VSECU was the easiest bank with which to work. They undestood the need to explain the process so the co-borrower felt responsible and make the payment reasonable for a student. I would reccomend VSECU for their service and their attention to the needs of a client. Thank you.

I recently took a loan out from this Brattleboro branch. The staff are very helpful and responsive. Their commercial account management is also superb. I highly recommend them.
