Clean, organized, great customer service. Decent prices. The bakery items are pretty good. The cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting are THEE BEST. The hot food counter had options like chicken and pizza ready and waiting but not old or dry looking. The guys stocking the shelves knew where to direct me to when I couldnt find an item. In self checkout the guy came over to scan my app card barcode almost immediately since you cant scan it yourself. Another reviewer mentioned parking lot panhandling which is an interesting juxtaposition to the Tesla superchargers they installed in the lot. Look... we are all out here trying to survive. Yes, there was a B-Boro All-Star making a drunken scene by the Rite Aid next door while on a cellphone. I just rolled my eyes and kept it moving.

I stopped shopping there after being verbally assaulted by a man calling himself "the night manager". I was on the phone with my bank because my debit card had an issue while at the register. While on my call, I asked for a manager (at my bank). A man appeared and started screaming at me and pointing at himself, saying "I'm the night manager! You can talk to me!" I didn't catch whatever else he screamed because I was listening to a bank teller on my phone. And honestly, when people scream in my face, I don't really hear them, just volume. This man was aggressive and frightening. He looked and sounded so angry that I was shocked, confused, and then scared. I called to him, but he was walking away and still screaming. I finished my call and bought my groceries. I went to the customer service desk. The woman was very kind and offered me a store gift card which I declined. I wanted to find the manager and ask him why he screamed at me, but he had left. Later, I called the store to speak to a daytime manager. I explained the situation and was told that it must have been some kind of misunderstanding. Perhaps the man thought I was calling store headquarters instead of my bank and was trying to get him in trouble? Not sure, because the day time manager never called me back after telling me he would. I wanted to know if I can still shop there or if I could expect to be verbally abused again. So, no follow up, and I'm no longer a customer due to the fact that I value my safety. Seriously, what store allows it's managers to abuse customers in this way? I should be able to shop in my local store without worrying that some man who doesn't even know me is going to scream in my face. He left a lasting impression on other customers too. One asked me if I was okay after witnessing the entire incident. He said that he almost "stepped in" because the manager looked aggressive with his stance and voice.
Other than that, it's an average grocery store with average prices and it looks better now that it is a Market 32.

Got a chicken noodle soup that had no chicken in it and an apple pie that had no apples in it.

Jamie & Elli are wonderful consistently pleasant & helpful employees. I really like the seafood but I'd like to see more than one person working in that dept. @ a time. Many, many times I went there intending to buy seafood but there was no one there. Maybe they were on break or using the restroom but no one was covering for them so I purchased something else. Also the way it's set up if staff are cooking something or cleaning in back they can't see you & you can't see them. In addition they advertise that they will gladly steam lobster for free. Well I asked one guy to steam one for me & he rather curtly replied that there were cooked ones in the display case. Now we all know that when lobsters die in the tank those are the ones they cook and place in the display case. I don't want a lobster that died in the tank. Lobsters begin to secrete bad stuff when they die this is why they are cooked alive. If I wanted a lobster that died in the tank and was cooked who knows when ? I would've just grabbed one but that's not what I wanted the guy just didn't want to take the time steam one for me. This department is understaffed.

If you're brain dead, shop here. The morning front end managers watch as customers are stressed because the one young man on the register is backed up to the hilt. Yeah, I said 'managers'.. Wednesday morning, 7:30, 9/9/2020

Thank you for not requiring that shoppers wear masks. They don't work and can make healthy people sick and sick people sicker.

Overall this is a very nice grocery store. BUT I feel unsafe shopping there since COVID19 because face masks are not required for employees or customers. There were a lot of people in the store today who were not wearing masks. PLEASE REQUIRE MASKS, for the safety of the employees and the customers! If they can require that customers wear a shirt and footwear, why not masks?

So this isn't exactly a price chopper anymore but it's still owned by price chopper. I now wish I'd taken pics of the inside because it's a beautiful, clean grocery store. My friend and I were on a mission for some Vermont apple pie with cheddar cheese on it and they sadly didn't have any at the bakery but the lady in the bakery was nice and did point out the half sized apple pies and suggested getting some Cabot and just putting it on top, so that's just what we did.

I hate this store and avoid it like the plague but every time I try to get one of their deals their advertising is bogus. It frequently happens where it claims you'll get a discount on an item with their card, but when you go up to the register it doesn't give you the discount unless you buy three or four of the same item. It happened to me with seltzer. Knowing that they pull these stunts all the time I double checked the sign. It rang up full price at the register and claimed it was buy four get the deal. I told him it was wrong. He said he'd send someone to check because, unlike most customer-service centered stores, they don't believe customers. He walked away but then just didn't send anyone to check so we got charged full price. I'm sick of this store and their attempts to get more of your money by mislabeling their sales and hoping you're not paying attention.

If you can get past the ridiculous name of the store, the grocery selection here is pretty good, especially the produce and seafood (lots of options, very fresh). There's a small beer and wine area too. The store looked clean and newly renovated when I visited earlier this month.

Don't bother renting a carpet cleaner here. I was required to read and sign paperwork that went into specific detail about how to thoroughly clean the machine before returning it or face a $20 charge. This would imply that the machines are checked for their cleanliness upon return. Wrong! Upon wheeling the machine out to my car I heard a bit of a sloshing sound; upon lifting it into my vehicle, I saw that the discharge tank was half full of dirty water and that the roller brush (which I was told I must clean thoroughly before returning) was full of hair and debris. When I brought it back inside, they offered to have someone "rinse it out". On the cleaning instructions, customers are told that rinsing isn't enough; the tanks must also be wiped clean and dried. The offer to rinse it out was insufficient and I pointed out that the roller was filthy as well. The offer to "rinse it out" was repeated, and I asked for my money back. I then went to Hannaford's and rented a better quality machine at the same price. The machine was very clean, and I didn't have to sign a promise to clean it (though of course I will) or risk a $20 charge.

So it was nice to see the new changes in the store and glad they moved the recycle bin closer to the back.buuuuuuuut.........................The other day I had the misfortune to bear witness to the Store manager making a complete a** of herself...she was defending her co worker which was cool buuuuuut...she was wrong..I came to the store and watched the guy show up to attend the recycle bin...I then went into the store and did all my shopping in 20 minutes...when I came out the guy was just pushing the cart around the front corner of the building to empty it....unbelievable....her defense was " He has to push the cart all the way around and out back."...yes ma'am we understand that but if you had hired the right guy to do the job it would not take him an hour to do it....both me and my brother are in our early 50's and know how to do hard work....this is the second time this manager of Price Chopper has given me and my family rude and disrespectful attitude....nice make over needs new manager......
