The Windham County Humane Society is a caring and wonderful organization dedicated to the comfort and safety of animals. Staff members are really nice, very understanding, and knowledgeable. They provide excellent care, from treating hurt animals to running successful adoption and specialized placement programs like the Barn Cat Placement Program. These programs ensure good homes and happy placements, even for challenging cases. The facility allows updates on animals, and many adopted pets make themselves right at home quickly. While the experience can be emotionally difficult for visitors who want to take all the furry friends home, the staff's due diligence and compassionate work are highly recommended. The society welcomes donations and adoptions.
I love bringing my girls here, they take the best care of them! I don't ever want to take them somewhere else again, I had to once, I did not like it, did not like the way they cared for my ladies at all, this is the place where they are pet friendly with pet gloves! Thanks for your best care always!!

This place is a no kill shelter that is so amazing and welcoming. I love animals. And they let you just come in and hang out with the little fur ! 😍 also they have a fur baby panty outside incase anyone is in need! So stop by and adopt or play with the sweet babies!
