Windham Wines is a wonderful and fantastic wine shop, a real gem worth the visit. It is easy to get to, right off the main roads. The shop is small but has a fantastic, well-curated selection. It focuses on killer wines from smaller producers, including organic, sustainable, and biodynamic options at all price points. This is not a place for usual overpriced or cheap generic wines, but for delicious, affordable, and interesting bottles. The owners provide great personal attention, service, and fantastic recommendations. They are the friendliest, most helpful, knowledgeable, and amiable people. They share ample knowledge about the selections and the personal stories behind the wineries, helping customers explore new wines. It is a pleasure to stop there, and many never leave empty-handed. It is a habitual stop and the go-to spot for wine in the area, highly recommended as part of any travel experience to Vermont.
