Online ordering is impossible. Sick and hoped to do curbside but can't find a single thing online that I buy there on a regular basis. Every item search just pinwheels. You'd think it is a corner store by how little is available browsing through the categories.
The staff there is great. This is clearly a corporate problem.

Missing some of my fav products because they are no longer carrying them. Come on corporate!

Solid grocery store. A bit on the small side in terms of variety of options/brands but that is understandable considering the size of this town. Some local brands to buy from as well!

Needed two items. Layout was a bit confusing as first time visitor. We were in and out quickly.

I have used the grocery pickup service multiple times and, for the most part, have been very pleased. When Marlene is my shopper I notice my groceries are fresh and never expired dates. She is thoughtful about picking out fresh groceries and substitutions if needed.

Worst grocery store I've ever been in. And keeps getting worse.

I do my grocery shopping here weekly, and so far (almost three years) have been quite happy with the selection and quality of food. The associates are nice and I have never had to wait for more than a couple a minites at the cashier's, despite the store not having self-checkout counters.

This store has out of date food and expired meat all the time. I got sick from here last year and I won't buy anything that's not in a can any more.
To the lady who I think is the manager - listen, I get off work at 8:30PM and get in your store at 8:40. I leave by 8:50 and you close at 9:00. It would be REALLY great if you would stop commenting EVERY NIGHT what time I'm leaving the store. You stand there at the end of the register doing nothing, staring at me, don't even bother to give me a bag or anything, and laugh with the girl running the register about how you don't want people in the store because it's close to closing time. YOU CLOSE AT 9:00!! Excuse me for being in there close to closing. I can't help it. I'd appreciate it if you'd stop being so rude and making comments about it. I am a paying customer getting stuff to eat for dinner because I just got off work!

As someone with agoraphobia, social anxiety, and no vehicle, I find it less than ideal that Shaw's doesn't offer their delivery service in this area... But their pickup service is the next best thing. Ordering is always a fairly painless process, with plenty of open time slots and orders are always ready quickly. (A huge contrast with my experiences using the equivalent service at Hannaford)Bristol is also super walkable. It may be a mile walk one way, but it's a hundred times easier than the mile or so between my old residence and the Middlebury Shaw's, which involved a couple steep hills and an absurdly dangerous multi-lane street crossing.
