Great place to grab fresh breakfast sandwiches in the early morning before mtb ride. Half the cost of the country store across the street.

Weary travelers and cyclist rejoice. East Burke market has cinnamon bears. Not the freshest batch, but not stale either. High cinnamon content. Scovil rating is high. If you are in the area, this is your spot.

This is the greatest gas station of all time. I could not believe the things that were available in this gas station. Like yeah they have gas, obviously they have gas, but they also have so many of everything else it was a daily stop on a weekend getaway. They have every beer made in Vermont, including Heady Topper which is apparently a big deal. I could hear my brother's loins engorge when I told him I bought a four pack for him. Like through the phone audible engorgement. Gross? You betcha. I rolled in around lunch after falling off bikes one morning and it smelled like I died and went to Tijuana. Not in an everything-is-tinted-orange way, there were fajitas cooking in the little deli in the back. I asked after the smell and the lady at the counter gave me the run down. I said I might be back a half hour later to lunch up. I was told in the most adorable way "they might be gone dear". Needless to say I jumped on them and they were easily the best gas station fajitas I've ever had in my life. They slapped, like an aggrieved date after an uneasy advance. Stop in here and then go back every few minutes like my dumbass. It's awesome.

Went in to try and order a sandwich and sat in front of counter to order for a few minutes, and not one person acknowledged me. Three employees. No help. Go into Lyndonville to shop for anything unless it’s urgent. This place is overpriced and lacks customer service integrity.

I just stopped in the East Burke Market this evening, and I was taken by surprise. I was greeted as warmly as I could imagine. I was walked down the aisle as if I were a neighbor in need. They are thoughtful with the groceries and necessities that they offer, including local produce, syrup, etc. In fact, when I recommended that they transition away from an unethical company as their provider for chocolate chips, they immediately assured me that they would add another option just for me. I could not imagine a more wholesome and pleasant experience.

Purchased $40+ in gas at the pumps through my debit card and went in to purchase a snack for the road only to be told there was a $5 minimum to use my card inside! Bad policy to have when your customers are paying for gas at the pump! A convenience store should be somewhat accommodating to fuel customers. Cashier didn’t care that I just purchased $40 in gas!

Located near Burke Mountain, East Burke Market is a great place to shop locally for basic grocery needs including a small selection of fresh produce, meats, full service deli, frozen foods, ice cream, dairy items, Cabot cheese, home & cleaning products, baked goods, snacks, cooler drinks, beer, wine, coffee, and a selection of local products. There are also 4 gas pumps outside in front to fuel your vehicle. I stopped by East Burke Market for a sandwich. The place was very busy here, including lots of out of state plates (NY, NJ, CT) in the parking lot. During this pandemic, I wore a mask inside the store, where the majority of customers and staff were also wearing masks too and masks are mandated in Vermont. Since the store was very busy, it did take a while to order a deli sandwich. The manager came out and asked a staff member to help me. I ordered a made to order Turkey Sub ($4.69). After the sandwich was made, cut, and packed and wrapped, I had to wait a while (7 minutes) to checkout since there was only one staff at the register. The lady in front of me from Downstate NY was buying lots of groceries, well over $100. Also, a scruffy anti-masker male strolled into the store got his stuff and proceeded to stand next to me in line (no 6 feet space), WTF (I thought wearing masks inside was law in VT). Apparently people looked, but no one on staff dared to confront the mask issue. I moved aside quickly and when it was my turn, I promptly checked out, cash ready. The Turkey Sub was very good, thick and filled with lots of deli turkey slices (Dietz & Watson), lettuce, tomato, onions, cheddar cheese, & mayo on a soft Koffee Kup Bakery Sub roll.

Great little market. We arrived in town tired & hungry in search of a simple, quick, healthy dinner to go. Service was great & they even whipped up a veggie grinder for my vegan wife.
