Wow my sandwich was delicious, Steak & Eggs, the steak melted in your mouth, the bread crispy and soft inside. Very fresh and homemade, I would go back. Only downside, there is not much room inside and for a very cold day and a tourist on a walking tour wished to be able to sit down but had to wait several minutes for a table despite the long wait for the sandwich, but the wait was worth it!

So happy to have this place in Burlington and it is a regular stop for myself with friends, family, or colleagues. The food is always delicious, quick, and reasonably priced for the quality. The owners are passionate about the food they serve and treating their employees well.

Hip location for breakfast or lunch. Good bread, as well.

So, I went here because of the Google comments about trying the "day maker" breakfast sandwich. While it is pretty good, I felt as though I was eating bread with lettuce. The bun is huge and I couldn't taste the egg. I certainly think $12 is over priced for the size as well. But the atmosphere is fantastic and the service is quick. I recommend a visit and trying other options.

Throughly enjoyed my breakfast here. The establishment was nice and clean. They have separate bins for trash, recycling, and compost. You can opt for silverware or disposable utensils. They also have a "no screens" policy to have you interact with people instead of being buried in your phone. For food, my girlfriend enjoyed the avocado toast, which looked fantastic. She got a fried egg on hers and really enjoyed it. I went with the polenta and eggs. The portion was pretty big. Lots of polenta, large slice of salmon, 2 perfectly poached eggs, and garnished with fresh green onion. Such a great flavorful dish.I also got some cheddar jalapeño bread to go. I wish I didn't live so far or I would be here regularly.Parking: Parking in The area

Too crowded and it took forever to get our food. My husband's egg was not cooked on his sandwich and when he bit into it the egg exploded all over his clothes and the car. The scones were overcooked and tasteless. We have been to August First numerous times and have never had an experience like this.

If I remember correctly, the menu said "Hot Coffee". Plain and simple. It's by far the best Hot Coffee I've ever had! I wish I lived closer so I could try everything else they make!
