Such a neat shop with unique gifts and supplies for your pets! We stopped in while visiting Burlington on a road trip and had so much fun looking around. I decided to purchase a hoodie for my dog as a gift from our trip. So grateful for the help offered with choosing size, and I'm happy to say upon arriving back home that it fit perfectly! Thank you! I highly recommend stopping in to spoil your furry family members!

The owners are truly wonderful kind people. We're travelling far from home for the first time with our dog and needed help with fitting a replacement harness and not only was the owner filled with knowledge, he was incredibly helpful and considerate in finding what was best for our girl. It's not often you find places like this, it's refreshing going somewhere that's as passionate about your animal as you are. You were a lifesaver, we can't thank you enough!

Debbie and Co are true dog lovers (ok, cats too, whatever 😆) and can help you find whatever fun thing you're looking for. My girls love the treats and especially the birthday cookies - locally made! Edited to add: I have a new puppy and Houndstooth has outfitted us with so many things, including a chew toy she's obsessed with. We've gone through five already! And she's kitted out with a great harness I never would have known to look for.

Love this store! Debbie puts so much thought and care into the products she carries. I visit every time I am in Burlington. I especially love her selection of dog clothing for lots of different shaped pups! The cat section is great too. I met a bunch of adorable puppies at my last visit! Highly, highly recommend!!

We ❤️❤️❤️ Houndstooth! Owner 💕Debbie💕has selected the BEST dog clothing, other dog accessories, and kick-ass dog-related items like toys, treats, mugs, magnets, and reusable bags! If you have a pup and you’re in Burlington, we highly recommend stopping in, it’s such a fun store! We’ve bought so much outwear for our two dogs, including this autumnal orange vest for our old gal. I’m 3/4 of the way through a drive around the country and this is the best pet (dog/cat) store I’ve been to. Great selections of style and health products. Staff was wonderful as well. Definitely worth a visit.

Definitely a must visit for anyone on vacation with their pup. Great selection of collars and leashes, among many other things. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the best part was a cheat sheet they gave us for pet friendly spots in the area, worth the visit for that alone!

Wonderful selection and service! My dog got her favorite toy at Houndstooth - after 4 years of lots of use it finally needed replacing, but the manufacturer no longer made the same toy. Houndstooth owner Debbie went out of her way to find us a "close as possible" replacement toy and mailed it to us! My dog loves it! Houndstooth rocks!

What a fun place to visit. The focus is on quality items that function as intended. The owner is knowledgeable about every item, and takes the time to help dogs and their people find just the right thing. This is a locally owned small business, and they carry many items from other small businesses, and many items made in the USA or Canada.

Finnley LOVES shopping at Houndstooth. All his favorite toys are from Houndstooth - and they are ones that last!! And the Barkery!! His favorite place to get a treat. Great customer service. Best pet store in the area, hands down.
