I love the store and I'm in there often, in fact you'll notice that my profile picture is outside Kerry's. I never go to the deli counter so i can't review their behavior. But the register staff is usually pretty nice to me, but like i said, I'm in there pretty often. So they know my face and they know I'm not a threat to them.
My only real complaint is that they charge INSANE prices for anything you need to live on (i.e. groceries).
They can do it because they are the only place open this late, the amount of college students in the area, and their proximity to Decker Towers. There are people who live there that are on fixed incomes and the way Kerry's prices things is absolutely taking advantage of the people who need them the most. And they do it because they can.
But you don't go to the dollar store and buy things to sell on your shelf at over twice the price. It's ridiculous and insulting.
Again, i love the place.
But i hate the pricing of everyday goods.
I know this is Burlington, but we can do better.

Update: this place smells, always, they need to get their plumbing fixed or something. It can’t be sanitary. The manager, the lady, it’s clear she hates poor and homeless people. Very rude rules meant to discriminate.

I dont know what is wrong with the egg salad sandwich I grabbed from the cooler but ive been having gastric issues since I ate it. Highly recommend against buying pre-made food from here!!

This place should be ashamed of itself it's in one of the poorest places in Burlington and they are way too expensive it's been pissing me off now I'm finally saying something if you only have 5.00 on your ebt card you can't use it there they force you to spend more then 5.00 or you can't use your card there something needs to be done it's bullshit nothing like the friendly store it was when I was growing up in Burlington

While finishing up a phone call before entering, I made the mistake of leaning against the bike rack and it was so rusted that it fell over. A few more wiggles and it came completely free. When I went in to tell them about their damaged bike rack they basically accused me purposefully destroying their bike rack and demand that I "put it back".
The whole idea is ridiculous because I bike there and lock my bike to said bike rack all the time. When I pushed back on the poor way I was being treated and the accusation of property damage, they told me to leave the store immediately.
Don't lock your bike up here and watch out for the staff members who have a hair-trigger temper.

I appreciate that there is a store that is open late in Burlington. The folks who work here have always been nice to me.

The guy is here is rude answered a personal call when I came to his desk and made me wait. When I called him on it he said “I’ll just refuse to serve you next time” horrible customer service ! This isn’t even a safe place to stop at never mind have to wait for his personal phone call.

I guess it's a love or hate thing with the Kwik Stop but I love this local establishment. Homemade food, Real Vermont staff. The creemee machine depends on staffing so call ahead. This is not Panera Bread!
