You definitely spend a little bit more than you would per se at like Lowe’s or Home Depot, or similar building materials, but they generally tend to be better quality, especially in the 2 x 4 or dimensional lumber. One of the best parts is all the people. They’re just the best.”
“Don't sleep on Bouchard-Pierce! Not only have they beat the price of any box store options when I've been on the hunt for a new appliance, their customer service, warranty support and overall service experience is far superior. The staff is knowledgeable about their product lines, and the sales experience was about matching my use case vs. trying to upsell me to more expensive models.
On the service side: My SpeedQueen washing machine recently ate a sock. Nom-Nom-Nom – and it caused the pump to fail. I called up the parts department to order a replacement and was told no – they were happy to replace it under warranty. I was shocked! Try THAT with a big box store!
