This is not a retail post office but a regional center of some kind for sorting I think. They do not sell stamps or have a customer service counter for mailing packages and they have no drop boxes for mailing letters.
The problem is with google. It is presented on Google maps as a regular post office - very misleading!!
Please fix this Google!!

I called this Burlington post office repeatedly to report an insured damaged package with all of the contents removed at delivery. See the photo. The email given by the person who finally answered at this Burlington location (who said email me the info) leads to no where. The email keeps bouncing. It is a loop of incompentency where you cannot receive help. It is so disappointing. I feel so lied to by USPS.

USPS effed up my package delivery and nobody seemingly answers the phone ever at this location or any other in the Burlington area.

Open 10-4 on weekdays.. sort of hard to access a federal service when it's only open for 6 hours during standard working time.

Call when they are open and no one answers. I called at 10 a.m. this morning and a person picked up the phone but did not provide a greeting that would indicated they were ready to help me. I heard people speaking to one another in the background then the phone on their end was hung up.
I continued to attempt to call back for twetny minutes making multiple calls from two different phones. NO ONE PICKED UP. The carrier station is supposed to be open for calls from 10am to 4 p.m.
If I could give ZERO STAR review I would.
Where are you postal carriers? Where is my mail? Why are you not doing your work?

Change the name to:
"United States Postal"
They have very limited hours and no one never answers the phone.
There is no service.

I wish I could not even give a star but here it is, Debbie aka the front desk clerk or customer service person is terrible, condescending and does not belong in customer service or public service industry. The moment you ring the bell, she has combative tone and barely answers to questions asked.
To put that into perspective, my package was damaged during transit via USPS and I was told to pick it up at the USPS location on Pine St. When I went there 6/22/2024, I enquired about my damaged package and asked to see it to which she presented it but refused to hand it over. She asked me to accept the package of which I refused considering it was damaged.
I asked if I could take a picture of the damaged package so I can let Amazon know about it, she declined and after multiple tries, she relented. Thereafter the receipt which I gave her to claim the damaged package initially she refused to give me back as well.
The issue for me is her tone and unhelpfulness. I requested the manager or supervisor on site and she said he was not there even though other staff members said otherwise! I will be reaching out to management in due course.

Poorest customer service, EVER. The employee was extremely rude. No one deserves to be treated poorly as I was when I was being kind and patient. People skills are important in public relations. This interaction would receive zero stars if it were possible.

NEVER answer the phone, customer service is a complete joke. They quite obviously simply do not care about you or your mail at this location.

I completely understand being shortstaffed. But the people running this place are just abhorrent liars. Package tracking is effectively broken as they consistently chose to mark packages as delivered when that is not the case. I refuse to believe this is rogue employees and not directed from the top.

Had to remove my mailbox and get a PO box on Elmwood to get service after having my letterbox defaced/vandalized/tampered with repeatedly. The USPS natl phone line folks tell me to contact the station manager or postmaster or district offices, but I've not gotten responses from them. They did help me report through OIG.Their local PO responded by instructing me to get a PO box, so I did. The local PO doesn't follow USPS policies and seems to have some of its own, staff seem poorly trained compared to AZ/FL/IL/IN/MI/MN/PA/OH/WI offices I've interacted with. We decided its to get the USPS more funding by having customers pay for a PO Box :)
