Ben and Jerry's don't require a lot of explanations. Despite it's proximity to the birthplace of this super brand this location is not significantly different from any other Ben and Jerry's you've seen elsewhere. Located in the lower level, next to a pizza parlor, pub and a self service cafeteria. It's a few steps away from the fine dining restaurant and lifts. So it's a great location to grab some of the brand's best known flavors at the end of a long ski day (make sure you check the opening times as they change by day and season). Restrooms are available in the building, there are a few indoor seating places here and a bunch more on the other floors. Just be careful when you pass by here, because the tantalizing smell of freshly made waffles lingers in the air here at all times...

Incredible experience here at Ben and Jerry's although I was unable to attend the tour all in all walking around seeing the graveyard for the flavors they don't have anymore I thought was pretty cool. Got a triple scoop and what I thought was a bit weird Is that they done accept tips. Ended up getting a few things from their gift shop. Atmosphere was amazing and couldn't be happier.

Not what it used to be when Ben and Jerry owned it. The factory tour is a total scam. $6 for a five minute video and five minute speech. Then one tiny sample. Save your money and go to any other charming ice cream store along with way.

The ice cream was amazing, the scoopers were accommodating and the experience was quintessential smuggs

First off, I have to say I love this company and ice cream! Just amazing all around. I have never had an issue in all my years with eating the ice cream, until today. Unfortunately the ice cream can be expensive, but when you buy it you expect it to be exactly what you paid for. I bought the mint chocolate cookie. I didn't pay for plain mint ice cream I paid for what was labeled, but it absolutely did not contain ANY cookie. Extremely disappointed because that is the one part my baby girl will eat, and now she is upset because the "sharing" didn't work out in her favor. Very disappointed. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Ben and Jerrys just very disappointed tonight

We love to go there with our grandsons in the summer. They love the activities and the ice cream. They love to make their tie dye t-shirts! They always have a great time! The service is great and they are always very friendly no matter how busy they are! They have a great gift shop as well.

This is the scoop shop at the Smuggler's Notch resort, but the photos attached are for the factory experience, which this is not. The shop is small, in a basement, but the staff were friendly. Despite being so close to the factory location, it did not have the selection, likely due to being a smaller outlet. If you're at the resort, worth stopping by.

A small local favorite ice cream scoop shop inside smuggler’s notch family resort, Vermont. Tried a few flavors and that were very good. Visited on a weekday in July 2022 and it was busy.

The Ben & Jerry's at Smuggs resort is great. All the Ben and Jerry's flavors you love without as long of a wait in Waterbury. Very friendly and helpful, letting us try many flavors before we picked!

(8/19/21) - factory tour is closed - flavor graveyard is open - the Vermont sites states this locale is overrated - I spent the previous day in Burlington, and flavors were the same - scenery makes for good IG pics - long lines on a weekday afternoon - not shot glasses - bathrooms whereof medium cleanliness - playground for kids - friendly service with a smile
