Ambiance was beautiful. Castle house was charming. Unfortunately, the price point was several tiers above the quality of food and service. Filet was tough and bland. Cocktails were 3/4 filled. Service was slow and not welcoming to kids/pre-teens. It was very disappointing the birthday dessert was whipped cream with a candle at this price point.

It's such an amazing and romantic place. When I checked in, they gave me the keys to the castle.....

Words cannot describe this magical place. The setting is exquisite. The castle is enchanting. From was huge and newly remodeled bathroom. Dinner was exceptional. Loved every minute of being there. If I have to complain about something, it would be the breakfast. For $10.00 I would go find an alternative in town.

We had the most wonderful stay during our latest trip to the castle hill resort. Everything was to perfection and it made for a perfect weekend getaway. We stayed in one of the king suite rooms which had a beautiful walk in shower and the room had a cozy ambiance. Our favorite part of our stay was as always the heated outdoor pool, hot-tub and spa facilities. We got an 80 minute couples massage and it was the best money we ever spent. We came during late April which is a quieter season so is ideal if you want a couples getaway. As always the food in the restaurant inn is wonderful, as is the ambiance with the open burning fire and piano forte music. Would recommend booking dinner as soon as you arrive as times can be limited due to high demand.I personally would love to see use of the beautiful dining room for breakfast in the morning instead of what is currently on offer. We will be back again in the future for sure!

Stayed in a large condo, spa is not connected, waiting area is open to reception. Services were terrific.

Friendly staff.Do not recommend eating at the Castle diner. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. The room had a strong migraine inducing varnish smell due to a recently restored window sill.Good experience at the Spa. Overall I'd visit the spa again but not stay at the Castle hotel nor eat at the diner.

The staff are wonderful. I like working out there since it has all of the equipment you need in a compact space.

A beautiful place to stay - loved the outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Received a wonderful facial at the spa - very relaxing! Found the place lacked in service, however, no cleaning of the rooms and had to go find someone to get clean towels. Also, our bathtub wouldn't fill and it took a very long time to heat up the shower. For the price, I would have expected a bit more.

The room service food, filet mignon, was too salty. I didn't eat the other half. There is virtually no breakfast in that gorgeous restaurant. They were serving scrambled eggs, instant yogurt and muffin for a "continental breakfast" for $10. What a waste of gorgeous restaurant settings!

Stayed at the condos. We had the 2 bedroom. Everyday we needed to call multiple times to have the trash picked up. It was outside our front door from 9 am till 7pm. each day. We were there for 5 nights. This happened each day. We needed to call. The spa was adequate. Nothing special. My massage therapist gave a great deep tissue massage yet she did chat a bit. We ate ate the Castle. We had the private dining room. The food was very good as was the service. I would not return nor would I recommend this establishment

Spa was over priced for mediocre service. Purchased an expensive product they claimed removed waterproof makeup and it did NOT! Went to return next morning (which I normally would never do except was useless as it did not do what was promised) and was told no refunds--- or even credit--- despite not being posted anywhere, not being verbally advised of such, and sold a product claiming to do something it did not do! Buyer beware!!!

Beds were awful and need to be replaced. Staff doesn’t clean rooms during stay. Pool and spa were nice.

Went to the Spa for a massage. Mask required when face up during the massage. $115/ 50 was pricey considering the quality of massage. BUT it wasn't horrible just not the same experience I have had in my other reviews. After my massage I purchased some Aveda product. I bought an eye makeup remover because it was oil free and the sale clerk assured me it took off waterproof makeup. That evening I learned it DID NOT!!!!! And left my eye blood shot. Give the product did not do what the sales clerk assured me of--- it was no use to me and went to return the next morning. The clerk called her boss "Courtney". I was then informed there was no returns. Well this is NOT posted anywhere nor was I informed of such. " Courtney said the policy is behind the desk outside of consumer view. And then just refused to refund or even offer a credit. The product was not cheap so this was pretty ridiculous considering 8 was sold a product under false pretense (takes off waterproof makeup when it does not) and never being advised of their hidden policy--- which is odd considering even Aveda takes returns. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Oh and one last note "courtney" who was on the phone was silent when I asked to speak to her---- said she lost reception--- but clearly texting clerk immediately after.
