Driving by and saw the sign. Did a quick u-turn and picked some blueberries. The girl working was friendly and the berries were good. Glad we stopped.

This is the best farm stand we have visited on our tour of the Burlington-Charlotte, Vermont area. We live in Northern California where the farm stands can also be vastly different with excellent ones standing out head and torso above the rest.Sweet Roots has an incredible array of goat cheeses, including one with saffron called Fool's Gold as well as some of the best local jams we've found. We missed berry season but will definitely try to come back to pick blues before this lifetime ends.

A year round farm-stand with a fabulous selection of locally made cheeses, yogurts and specialty foods. The produce selection is broad even in depths of winter, Farmer and Owner Jane does an amazing job making every visit to the store a treasure hunt for good food. Summer blueberries are the icing on the Sweet Roots cake. Friendly, welcoming store and a community treasure.

Sweet Roots is a great place for both locally grown produce and for local information for "flat-landers" like my wife and I. We shopped there multiple times in our 6 weeks in the Champlain Valley, and were always pleased with there produce. One of the staff there also pointed us to the Back Door Bakery. This combination, along with a few other things we learned allowed us to discover a true "farm to fork" Vermont experience.

Sweet, as if you might guess. Got some fresh veggies, couple oatmeal and hazelnut cookies, and two popcicles made from organic berries. Prices are up there but it was worth it.. girl working there was pleasant and insightful, unlike many who seem clueless about customer service.

Very sweet blueberry! There are several sorts of them. Many are small in size and very sweet, like European bilberry. You have to spend a good amount of time to pick up 1-gallon bucket.
