I started going to Chelsea Animal Hospital soon after it opened by Julie Krasne -I have stayed with CAH from then until now - Dr Ann is Great! Her patience (with me!) is notable and her attention to details and offering options about how to treat some issue, and many more things...Even when i moved out of state for a bit, I drove over to CAH with my dog - when you find a good Dr, an above average Dr, you don't want to try to find a different Dr

I am caring for a large 11 yr. old dog with diabetes and associated problems. In the past I have used holistic vets. Being new to VT, I was glad to find Dr. Carroll. She is knowledgeable, kind and efficient. Since changing to her care from a larger traditional practice, my dog is much improved. I recommend Dr. Carroll as a vet who is practical and gives excellent care. If you are looking for someone who treats traditionally, uses Chinese Herbal Medicine and has resources for acupuncture and chiropractic, this vet is for you!

I am so grateful for Chelsea Animal Hospital. Our dog had skin and eye issues for years and no vet could figure out a way to help her. Chelsea Animal Hospital, though, figured out a holistic solution, and our dog hasn't had an issue with it since we began working with them. I am so grateful for the time they take to really get to know us and our dogs. They are truly spectacular people and professionals.

Had no interest in helping us even though our dog was injured. I would not recommend this place nor would I ever take my animal there. All concerned about weather we were already a patient or not.

Ever since I could remember I loved animals. In 2003, I went to school for animal care. When I came home I became a pet sitter and have a huge passion for giving our animals what they need to thrive. Our pets are another member of our family after all.

It was worth the drive to get help for our little Cleopatra. Dr. Anne was smart, caring, and very detailed. Everyone was kind and Covid aware.

Super friendly and informative staff. Really takes the time to get to know individual pets and their unique needs. Highly recommend.

I was recommended to go here by Onion River Animal Hospital because I prefer holistic approaches to my dogs' health, and I feed them a raw-food diet. I did not like this practice and I would not go back.

The staff and vets here are caring, friendly, and professional. They always would tell me the cost of different tests/treatments and explain the pros and cons before doing anything, so I could decide. I liked the more alternative approach. I also got many follow up calls by the vet or a tech after a visit to report and explain lab results or check on how my cat was doing, and offer advice.

I saw Dr. Anne Carroll because my eleven year old dog has Cardiac Heart Failure and I am new to the area. I did not receive caring, loving service there and had to take my dog to a different vet. I felt this vet trip was a waste of time, money and stress on my dog. The following explains what occurred and did not occur. Dr. Anne highly recommended their holistic herbal medicine and that my dog should get an ultrasound due to her extreme heart murmur. The doctor was also supposed to call in her regular medication refill at Wal-Mart. As I left the office, I reminded the staff to call me with the ultrasound info. They said they were already working on finding out prices for me. When I made the trip to Wal-Mart, the vet had failed to call it in, so I had to wait over the weekend and call them on Monday as she was out of the medicine. In addition, they never called me with an ultrasound referral. On top of that, the holistic medicine made her so nauseous, I could hear her stomach squealing across the room for three days. I stopped their extra herbal meds because I could not bear to see her so uncomfortable. There was no "follow-up" call to see how their new client was doing. I paid $90 for this visit and felt I did not receive caring, loving service for my pet. I sent an email describing all of this. Dr. Anne apologized for not following through and that is was their error. But in addition, she said they could not call back all of their clients to see how they are. She also stated that it was up to me to follow-through on the items they failed to provide. I had no interest in following up with them and to continue to use them to care for the dog I love dearly, if this is the kind of minimal, routine service they provide.

Extremely knowledgeable and thorough. It takes me an hour to get there, wouldn't go to anyone else.
