This place is so homey feeling. The boss is amazing, the waitresss are awesome. Best place to go to warm up with some tea a something to eat. You wouldn’t be disappointed ❤️

Had a great afternoon tea to wrap up a ski trip in Vermont. Excellent selection of teas and very friendly staff. Would go back if I was local!

Such a beautiful place. It's so inviting and they always have the cutest retail! Very nice employees! Definitely worth the trip. I recommend the lemon poppyseed scone with the lemon curd on top!

From Vermont Tea House
The Vermont Tea House was opened by Vicki Weiss, the owner of the Mathis House a Victorian Tea Room and Bed & Breakfast located in Toms River, New Jersey. Vicki's teahouse in New Jersey has been voted one of the best tea houses in the state. Vicki has been visiting Chester, Vermont for nearly 30 years and fell in love with the area. In September 2021, Vicki opened the Vermont Tea House for her daughter Laura to manage and operate. The Vermont Tea House is located minutes away from antique shops, ski mountains, and the Vermont Country Store.
The tea room offers a retreat of delicious gourmet teas, homemade scones, and a beautiful gift shop.
