I’ve been bringing my pups to see Dr.Shorter for a little while now, every single time I leave I say “god I love my vet”. He listens, he understands and most importantly he explains things in great detail. He is always willing to try things until we get it right and isn’t a pusher. I am grateful to have found him. The front desk staff as well as the vet techs are also so very lovely. Highly recommend!

I am an out of stater whose English Bulldog sprained his elbow going down the stairs. The clinic worked me in the same day and accurately diagnosed my dog and treated him with care. Duke has made a great recovery in the two weeks since. Thank you very much for treating my dog.

Our family consists, in part, of four 4-legged members: 1 dog and 3 cats. Every visit to see Dr. Mike and the rest of the crew leaves us satisfied that our pets are in excellent hands. We never feel rushed, our questions are always patiently answered, we receive the best care and advice, and we never feel like victims of highway robbery when we get the bill. Everything is neat and clean, and everyone is so understanding, helpful, kind, and friendly. We feel blessed to be clients of Petit Brook.

These folks are the best. We bring our 3 cats here, fair pricing for vet service these days, they can always fit us into their schedule, and they're extremely kind and compassionate and all the folks who work here love sharing stories of their own pets so you really know you're in good hands. They even removed our cat's drain for free (only charged us $9 for a new cone) after we spent $$$$ at BEVS last weekend getting our cat stitched up after he impaled himself on a fence post, which was completely unexpected and unwarranted but a very kind gesture after a stressful and expensive weekend.

We've been bringing our pets there for 10 years, and I can't say enough good things! The entire staff is pleasant, and the vets are outstanding. They have Saturday morning hours and try hard to get you in when it is an emergency or acute. They are flexible and accommodating, like when you can't catch your cat for their check up and have to bring your dog instead. Through all the years, they have been excellent.

Got in very quick for Sadie Mays rabies shot, so we could stay at camp with her and just over all great service and very caring love the techs and doctors there.

Professional and caring staff. We have been, and will continue to be, loyal clients. Dr. York is very knowledgeable and thorough. With her calm demeanor, everyone, including our dog, Molly, has a low stress level.

Who told they were only taking new patients and I need to find a vet for my cats have you not want an elderly person that has health issues taking care of my cat anymore she diagnosed him wrong and he still has issues and I'm looking for a vet I reached out to these people and they told me they weren't taking new patients sorry so I'm not very happy with them

Can I give more than five stars to Petit Brook? If I could, I would. From the first time I made an appointment for my dear Ellie Mae, through 5 minutes ago when Dr. Mike called personally, after hours, to discuss her treatment plan; I have had nothing but an excellent experience with this clinic. Each time I call or pick up meds, Chris greets me with a smile and with care, even though I know she has a million other pet parents who need her service just as much. In terms of the medical care received, it's nothing if not top notch. Dr. Mike has been incredibly supportive, knowledgable and comforting as we have navigated an acute injury as well as some arthritis. He keeps on top of her test results, following up with insight and compassion. Twice, in the past month alone, he has taken the time to call me personally to walk through the current treatment, what to look for in progression of the arthritic joints and to invite me to keep the practice informed with changes so that they can adjust accordingly. So often, as pet parents, our worries, love and concerns are addressed, ingenuously, as though it's just another box to check off in a long list of patients. I can say with confidence that this is not the case with Petit Brook. They love animals, and respect the pet parents, and it truly shows.
