This Walgreen’s on Prim Road in Colchester VT is the worst pharmacy I have ever had. They promised my medication refills would be filled according to schedule, which fell on Christmas eve. When I arrived there the pharmacist said the shipment had not yet arrived and to come back at 3. At this point the pharmacist had left and there was only one guy working there who said he was a nee employee and the shipment had not been delivered to the pharmacy. He said to come back Friday after Christmas. A sign on the door said, sorry closed due to staffing shortage. I decided to go yo another Walgreen’s close by and ask them to fill the prescriptions. They said they could not do it because the Prim road Walgreen’s had filled it on Wednesday. I guess the new employee just couldn’t find it. So now I have to wait 5 days with no medication, which has withdrawal effects if discontinued suddenly. The North Avenue Walgreen’s would not even give me enough to cover today and the weekend. The pharmacist said to go yo the emergency room if I have to.
I have several other complaints but the latter tops them all and I have never experienced this before. Today the Colchester Walgreen’s portal even sent me a courtesy message that my medication was ready but didn’t happen to mention that they were closed due to staffing shortages. Monday I will be having them transfer all my prescriptions to a better pharmacy.

One of the worst! Always have to call because they don't fill scripts here unless you ask. They are shipped here which takes days? The phone system is like all the others terrible and frustrating. I never know what the hours are here and walgreens online is horrible!

I recently experienced an agonizing, multi-week complication with Federal Express. Walgreens, acting as a third-party FedEx pick up point, was put in the middle of a royal FedEx screw up regarding a mishandled, expensive item, which was initially delivered to Walgreens.
Long story short - FedEx delivered the item to the Walgreens and two days later, picked it back up again, in error with a bunch of other packages, without advising me or Jill’s crew of the mistake. Tracking down the item and physically getting my hands back on it after several days of dealing with the incredibly inept FedEx monster (do not trust them to ship or deliver anything, but that’s for another review.) was no small feat.
The bright spot here was store manager Jill.
Throughout my intense days of frustration and torture at the hands of FedEx, she kept my spirits up, took down my phone number so that she could personally advise me when the package was back in her team’s possession, as she could tell how important finding a resolution for the FedEx fumble was to me.
The issue was finally resolved, and all the while, Jill was super positive and encouraging and classy. Never at any moment did she speak poorly of FedEx, or throw them under the bus. She just made her leadership look effortless and controlled the situation with complete professionalism and empathy.
In my honest opinion, she deserves a BIG raise from both Walgreens AND FedEx, as she proactively absorbed complaints on behalf of both organizations, and served as an excellent ambassador for Walgreens, all while covering FedEx‘s butt.
The world needs more Jills!!!

This is our local corner pharmacy and we've always had good luck with them. The pharmacy staff is kind and caring through the business.

The pharmacy is no longer open on weekends and today, Friday, it is closed. I am no longer able to pick up prescriptions when needed and while I understand short staffing, I would assume most people use and can access the pharmacy on the weekends.

I had a great visit to this Walgreens, I was helped by Adam, he went out of his way to help me find not 1 but 3 items! I was in a big rush and he was able to quickly get me exactly what I needed.

Convenient for everything but prescriptions. I have two medications that they said, "we'll have them in tomorrow" and then they are closed without notice the next day. When will they reopen? Nobody knows.

I never felt so unwelcome in my life...store worker ADAM made me feel like a alien besides being rude not showing me average customer skills he was also sarcastic and belligerent then to add insult to injury after I spent $97 he didn't take 2secs to rub my $25reading glasses on a alarm free mat so when I walk out the door it set off the alarm causing people to look at the only blackwoman in the store suspiciously I was so embarrassed ? he didn't even apologize I will never GO SHOP THERE AGAIN!!!! THANKS ADAM...I will like to say the cashier EMMA tried to redeem his attitude and took the alarm off the glasses and continue to apologize she was very courteous and Walgreens should appreciate her?

I would give them Zero stars if I could. This pharmacy has messed with my family and friends on multiple occasions shorting people. This last time instead of taking responsibility the manager decided to blame me stating that the 4 pills my son is missing (my son is disabled mind you) is my fault and it is happening the minuet I leave the store. This manager also made the underhand comment that, and this is verbatim, "We do not have this issue with ANYONE else but you" then she went on to say more disrespectful untrue statements. This is how that pharmacy is running. I used to work for Walgreens, so I can tell you that I know the kind of people they have working in that pharmacy. Again, not the first time this has happened, and they always try to find a way to blame either the insurance, the doctor (who when you check in with has no idea what the pharmacy is talking about), or the customer making us feel like we did something wrong when we did not. This issue will also be reported to corporate. If anyone else has had a similar experience, please feel free to reach out.

I have been coming to this store for years. Mostly for the pharmacy, but the front staff has always been friendly. The pharmacy staff is mostly amazing. There’s Danielle, Leah, Melanie, Chris and Cathy (yes I remember them by name). Despite the chaos of the shots going on they are always very helpful to me. Lately I had an issue with a newer face to me, Lana. I was trying to pick up a medication. I asked specifically for it by name and after some fussing she was able to find it. The pharmacy was not busy it was later at night I am a very understanding person with the stress of the job. I got home and the pharmacy was closed when I took my medicine to find out she gave me the wrong one. The names were similar but myself and a witness know I asked for the one I wanted. If it wasn’t for this issue I would have given five stars. I’ve sensed attitude from her before but I don’t see her very often.I want to thank all the staff here for all they do. It is a very hard time right now, especially in this field, and I’m grateful for all they do.

Tanya thinks it is appropriate to hang up on me and then continuously hang up the phone when I try to call back to get a refund for an item that I paid for that she didn't put in my online order bag. She said I can bring the item in for a refund, to which I replied with "I never received the item..." then I just get repeatedly hung up on. This is called THEFT and for her to be disrespectful to a customer for her own mess up is unbelievable.
