I had a great solo weekend retreat this past weekend! The location is gorgeous, tucked in the mountains, but close enough to restaurants and outdoor things to do. I had a room with a deck that overlooked the mountain view and was able to eat my delicious breakfasts outside with the sounds of nature. Ariane and Scott create such a welcoming environment. There is tea and coffee available throughout the day. The room was super clean and I especially loved the sitting corner and jetted tub. It felt very private and was a perfect quiet getaway from my kiddos. I look forward to staying again at some point in the future.

The owners were gracious and accommodating. The property itself is charming and inviting, offering a stunning view of the mountain. My partner and I have stayed twice at the Deerhill and will definitely return. I highly recommend.

This inn is an amazing place to stay, especially if you’re planning to ski at Mount Snow—it’s only a 10-minute drive away! Perfect for those who love to sleep in before hitting the slopes.
The inn has a very warm and cozy atmosphere, with each room uniquely decorated. The room we stayed in had a beautiful blue-green theme. You can check out more photos of the different rooms on their website or Google Maps. The overall style feels like a mix of American and British countryside charm.
One of the thoughtful touches here is that the toiletries are from L’Occitane, and they even provide small resealable bags so you can take any unused products with you—such a nice detail!
Breakfast is included, but it’s made-to-order! The orange juice is freshly squeezed, the Greek yogurt is organic, the jam is locally sourced, and the omelet is absolutely delicious. The sourdough bread is incredibly fragrant!
The dining area is stunning—there’s a warm fireplace, elegant cabinets displaying British-style dishware, and all the tables are set facing the windows, giving you a perfect snowy view. The background music is light and classical, mostly Mozart, which made me feel like a European princess enjoying a royal breakfast!
They also offer homemade cookies all day in three different flavors. Even though they are classic American-style sweet cookies, the oatmeal raisin one was surprisingly good!
I should have mentioned this first, but the inn has an adorable little dog! On our first day, it quietly lay at my feet the entire time we were eating—never begging for food, just occasionally strolling over to the window to watch the snow.
The owners of the inn are incredibly kind and welcoming! There’s a sweet elderly lady with a British accent who took care of us, making sure we were comfortable, asking if we needed more tea or coffee, and checking if our room was warm enough.
Very very decent price as well. Although the mountain is closed one day, but this inn makes the whole trip worth!

We stayed at DeerHill Inn in the winter of 2025...what a wonderful place! The owners have thought of everything! The rooms are fully appointed with everything you will need. The room was beautiful, the bed was amazing! The inn has a couple of great rooms with giant fireplaces and comfy seating to relax and unwind. The breakfast was wonderful! A full menu of choices with a full hearty breakfast. An adorable little bar area for your favorite cocktail. We will definitely be back here. Best inn we've ever stayed at, and we have been to many. It's obvious the owners are fully dedicated to their Inn!

We just returned from a lovely weekend getaway at Deerhill Inn! This was our first visit, but will not be our last! It was stunning in winter and I can only imagine how beautiful it is in every season.
The whole visit was wonderful. We stayed in the Apple Blossom room which had it's own cozy fireplace and plenty of space to make ourselves at home. We woke up to an incredible view of the snowy mountains. Breakfast each morning was delicious.
Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and kind. Ariane is the perfect innkeeper - so friendly and personable. Scott was cheerful every time we crossed paths. Josie, the Miniature Schnauzer (hypoallergenic), was a delight and put a smile on our faces whenever she scurried through a room or sat with us by the fire.
In addition to our own comfortable room, the Inn has two sitting rooms, both with wood burning fireplaces, a library, an adorable little bar with a good wine selection, and a library. We enjoyed peaceful evenings reading and chatting in each of these locations.
There are dozens of delicious restaurants nearby, as well as skiing and hiking trails (for walking, snowshoeing, or cross country skiing).
I look forward to our next visit!
The daytime photos are from our room, the night photo is looking up toward the inn.

Stayed at the Deerhill Inn with my girlfriend for a 3 night ski trip. We were greeted by the lovely Ariane and shown to our beautiful room. The Inn is decorated beautifully and is spotless. The White Pine Suite was spacious and comfortable-the fireplace made it so cozy. Breakfast was excellent and the homemade cookies were such a nice treat. There are a number of great places for dinner nearby. Will certainly stay here again.

What an amazing stay with such lovely hosts! Everything about this place was perfect. The room we stayed in and all common areas were super clean, tidy and cozy. The breakfast was amazing too with a great variety of choices. Best stay we had on our 2 week road trip across New England! The hosts were more than helpful and super friendly. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!

Fantastic experience for solo traveling. I arrived on a snowstorm evening. The host called me to check in with me due to the weather. The room was super cute, clean and comfortable. There are very soft and thick robes prepared. The linen of the beddings feels luxurious. It is beyond a lot of the resort hotels I’ve stayed in many countries. The host helped me shovel my car out of a pile of snow at night. Super grateful for that as I was by myself during the trip. The breakfast was amazing as well. The muffin is probably one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Plan to revisit in the summer cuz this place is a true gem.Rooms: Spacious warm and comfortable

Arianne and Scott are the best hostesses. We felt very comfortable. They are very friendly and accommodating. The room was very cozy and spacious. Our room had a fireplace that we could control and a separate sleeping area. It was lovely! The location is perfect. Several restaurants were minutes away and the Mount Snow is about a 4 minute drive. Definitely recommend this place. I cannot wait to come back!

An amazing bed & breakfast! Went here with my fiancé for the weekend while we went skiing at Mount Snow and this couldn't have been a more perfect place to stay. The people working there were all so friendly and nice, there are many spaces for relaxation in the common areas where you can play board games or watch movies, and the breakfast in the mornings was amazing and we had the best view of the snowy mountains. Felt very movie-like. Highly recommend!

Ariane and Scott are thoughtful, amazing hosts! We stayed in the private, cozy, and romantic White Pine Room over this weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I highly recommend splurging on the wine and cheese platter. It was waiting for us when we arrived, and was just what we needed to greet us. The breakfasts served right in our room were scrumptious and very filling. Can't say enough great things about the whole experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you want to experience a quintessential New Englad B&B this is a perfect place to visit. Our room was amazing and super clean. It had all of the amenities of a 5 star hotel. The attention to detail in the room and the Inn made for a nice relaxing weekend. The room had a jetted tub, fireplace, outside private deck and super comfy bed. The linens and pillows were soft like clouds. The personal touches like the robes or make-up face cloths were those little unexpected things you appreciate. The owners Ariana and Scott were so gracious and accommodating. Josie their pup was friendly especially during breakfast. :) I have food restrictions and they were able to accommodate all of them. The breakfast was delicious homemade everything...cinnamon chips scones, omelets, bacon, coffee and tea etc. YUM!! Did I say how immaculate the room and common areas in the Inn? By far the cleanest and most organized B&B I've ever stayed at and I have been to a lot. The location is perfect for people wanting adventure or just a nice relaxing day or both. We took advantage of the location and went on a 5 mile hike which was wonderful. We relaxed with a bottle of wine and a nice hot bath after the hike. It was perfect. We highly recommend staying here and will be coming back for a few nights next time because we enjoyed it so much. Thank you Ariana and Scott for making my birthday weekend so special. Mark and Karen

Where to start? My wife and I were in the area for a June destination wedding. I initially planned to stay in a hotel, but there were none within a reasonable distance of the site. I decided to risk the unknown of an inn and selected this one.To say we were stunned by the comfort, beauty and hospitality we experienced would be an understatement. Friendly and accommodating owner/operators, delicious breakfasts (I'm not a breakfast person but these were the best I've ever had), comfortable rooms, etc. I only regret with all the wedding activities we did not have time to spend in the inn common rooms or the pub.
