Burke Mountain offers an awesome experience with enough trails for beginner to advanced levels. The area is beautiful, and local restaurants are definitely worth visiting. Guests can enjoy a pleasurable stay, especially in slope-side condos, and experience good weather. The little village of Burke features a country store and other places to eat, with a cool and refreshing stream for swimming. The air in Vermont is a refreshing change from city suburbs, making Burke Mountain feel like a piece of heaven, with many places of interest a short drive away. The mountain provides great riding conditions, even on powder days, with fantastic glades and plenty of space on the trails. The hot dog stand at the mid-mountain lodge even offers gluten-free buns. While lift loading can be improved at times, especially with younger kids, the overall skiing conditions are good. Burke Mountain is also described as a great locals mountain with friendly staff, longer and cooler runs than expected, and a pub that serves some of the best burgers. Visitors can look forward to returning.
