We stopped in on a hunt for furniture. We were greeted by a friendly employee and a kind old dog. The first floor was absolutely stuffed with furniture to the point that most items were buried. Compared to other stores we had visited, the pieces felt overpriced. Maybe they haggle?
The back of the first floor and the second floor had all sorts of miscellaneous and smaller antique items- decor, dishes, lamps, and more. These things were easier to view, better organized, and a bit better priced. The name of the place is Furniture Barn though, and overall we don't feel like it is worth a second visit.

Nice owners. Good prices. Off the beaten path so good place to find things as drive by traffic is low.

Anita helped me find a lamp, she was so sweet and listened to my concerns, walked around to find me something that met my needs and had me test the lamp with a bulb which she let me keep before leaving. She was a gem and I'm looking forward to going back. So many cool and functional items at great prices!

Between high prices, not very friendly or engaging staff, and a cluttered (and somewhat dirty) location, I don’t feel a need for a 2nd visit.

A great find just outside of Montpelier. Found 3 cased pieces I am refinishing and will definitely be going back again.It is well-worth a rummage, you can find some gems here.Friendly service and very affordable when comparing locally.

Great collection of furniture and antiques. The father and daughter team were helpful and attentive. They helped me find exactly what I needed. I will definitely be returning to find more hidden gems.

My time at the Furniture Barn was pore and was mistreated. I wondered threw the Isles when I came across Sport stuff that was out with the wrest of the stuff which was for sale. I was looking and admiring what they had where a man who worked there came up to me and told me to back away and to not look at his stuff. Later on while looking most of the stuff was overpriced and not worth the amount wanted. While walking threw it smelt musky and like your grandma’s house
