About Vermont Woodworking School

The Vermont Woodworking School Immersion Program is a full-time furniture design and woodworking education program. Students can enroll for a partial 9-week semester, or stay for up to 2 and a half years of education. VWS also offers the occasional short term 3-4 day workshop for those interested in learning a new skill like turning, or building their own cherry Shaker hall table.     I highly recommend. I just took a weekend intro to wood turning class and I learned sooo much. Worth every penny. Now I can turn goblets, bowls, live edge, rattles and with those basic skills, sky’s the limit on what else I can do.
