Kingsland Bay State Park offers visitors a peaceful and scenic outdoor experience. The park features a short cliffside and shoreline walk with beautiful views of the bays, making it perfect for a quiet walk or picnic. The trail is typical Vermont terrain, with uneven footing and a short narrow stairs section along the shoreline. There are no dogs allowed on the trails or in the park. Visitors can enjoy a grassy area with shady spots for picnics, and nearby clean bathrooms. The park is accessible by land, with a long single road leading in, giving a sense of entering a historic place. Boat and paddleboard activities are popular, with swimming off a dock and ample parking available. The area is ideal for relaxing dips, bird watching, fishing, and enjoying views of the cove and neighboring homes. During busy days, a small park fee applies. Overall, Kingsland Bay State Park provides a quiet, scenic spot for walking, swimming, picnicking, and outdoor recreation.

Beautiful park & grounds with picturesque views. It's a lovely venue for events. There are also some nature trails which are decently marked & nice to enjoy. The park staff is exceptionally nice & friendly. I would recommend visiting.

Clean, lots of space, great views, but rocky lake entry.
