Convenient to grab snacks and some basic groceries while staying nearby. They also had a small selection of fishing gear, and some souvenir apparel. Pizza and ice cream were also available!

got 2 grinders not much meat and very little mayo i also observed the staff handling the food without gloves on making pizzas grinders touching doors handling money and no one washed there hands or put gloves on long hair not pulled back or hair net that is gross the owners should know better and train there staff better. i have worked in a deli before and know that the health department requires you to have a hair net or hair pulled back with hat on and when handling g food gloves and hand washing a lot

It is the most Prejudice store I've ever seen in Vermont and I saying something. I wasn't in there 5 minutes and everyone swarmed me. I feel sorry for black campers coming up here

Sandwiches are high content and high quality. You'd better be extra hungry for the large size!

Pretty decent, albeit expensive, pizza. $20 will get you a large cheese and it was pretty good. I didn't like what the pizza in the hot case looked like though as it had been sitting in there all day and was dried out. They have a variety of prepared salads too. I got their baked beans which were pretty darn good.

We stopped in after kayaking for the day and had a late lunch before heading back to the campground. We both had the wings, which were good. They have a variety of flavors and I really liked the maple BBQ. After our lunch we went out front and ordered ice cream from the window. They have a soft serve machine that can mix in about 30 different flavors so there's definitely something for everyone. They also have hard ice cream for people who prefer that.

We were craving ice cream on our weekly camping trip and thought how nice. we decided on what we wanted to order...we waited and waited, finally, the young server appeared, turns out he was working the inside counter as well--he had to inform a co-worker she needed to help...he apologized and filled our order. I had a strawberry milkshake, which tasted of heavy cream, very little ice cream...it was a 16 oz shake for $3.79, my partner ordered a banana split, which was far from traditional, it looked to be mostly whipped cream and chocolate sauce...it had chocolate, vanilla and strawberry ice cream with nuts and a cherry on top. It wasn't very appetizing to the sight...back home one gets pineapple on theirs, but we were told that's how they're made here...without!! All told I think it was $9.75, which is reasonable, just didn't meet our total satisfaction...maybe next time we will go into Middlebury and find a better place and pay a few dollars more.

Do not eat here unless it is for the ice cream. I arrived at Branbury State Park kind of late and didn't want to go to far away in the dark. I expected great food but it was nowhere near. I paid close to $50 for 4 burgers and 3 fries and the burgers were not even fresh. I believe they were the pattied frozen kind, no flavor at all. The staff was okay, except that I ordered my food to go and they put it on a tray and took it out to a table that was waiting for their meal to dine in.

Unfortunately after a great day at the beach, these creemes were not up to par. Stick with the good ol Wilcox ice cream here, because the 24 flavor a comes in one too expensive size and the creemes were more like milk ice then good soft serve.

A cold rainy Sunday afternoon. NASCAR race droning. I am hungry, and lazy!! We ordered a large cheese pie, was ready by the time I drove to pick up. Thin crust, great texture. Bright tomato sauce. Stingy, chewy cheese and lots of it! Like pie from a cart in NYC!! Very Good, and reasonable!!

love bringing my kids here in the summer. while it seems to be run by teenagers, they do a pretty good job. the ice cream is great and generously scooped, and the food, though simple, is consistently prepared well and also generously portioned. the pizza is really the best around (probably frozen dough and canned sauce but it really is delicious, not greasy, chewy and i actually crave it in the winter). love getting the pizza to go and heading to dunmore for dinner.
