Really nice place to learn about cheese making, we were lucky that the day we stopped by they were making cheese and could see it. The cheif cheese maker Mariano Gonzalez was super sweet to explain to us about the process of cheese making and types.

Grafton Village Cheese Company should show a little more respect for their customers and potential customers. We rely on google and websites to know if you’re open. We traveled 45 minutes each way. Google said you were open. When we arrived you were closed. The Saturday after Thanksgiving, when tourists like me want to explore and support small business, at least have the common courtesy to adjust your google settings. It takes only a half a minute.

We were hoping to see some type of “factory tour” so that was disappointing, however Erin made up for it! Erin is super nice and let us sample many many cheeses- which is what we wanted. I think there’s too much sheep/goat cheese, but there are other good cheeses as well. The cheese is very expensive ? but delicious so taking some home is worth it. If we could get more cheese for our money I’d give it a 5/5.

There was a time when this was the best ~ It has deteriorated to the point where I no longer stop. Used to have superb 5 year old 4 year old and occasionally 7year old cheddar, , all of which they no longer have. The one and two year varieties are run of the mill.

Definitely worth the stop along a beautiful Vermont drive. My wife and I stopped here on our honeymoon and spent WAY too much money on cheese. Definitely pricy but not sure if you will find too many places with such a great assortment of cheese and wine and other goods for cheap anywhere. This also seems like a great stop to bring kids as there is a large farm system with extensive trails and a ton of things for kids to do. We didn’t do this as my wife is 8 months pregnant but we definitely plan on coming back!!

This is one of my favorite places to visit. Be aware their website says nothing about the closing.

Vermont and their ridiculous draconian mask rules aside, this place had some quite good cheeses. Still enjoying some of them.

This place was a good stop. Tried multiple cheeses, and we picked up a few things. Whole store was like a taste tester delight. How could we not make a purchase.

Was pleased to find a raw milk cheese, with microbial rennet, and a natural rind. :) Delicious and bold.

They were supposed to be open until 6, after an hour drive we found it closed before 4pm, extremely disappointed in that time difference. We weren't the only ones either, 2 more cars pulled in behind us, such a shame
