Highland Lodge is a charming and fabulous place with a warm and cozy vibe and beautiful views of its wonderful northeast kingdom Caspian Lake setting. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff is friendly, attentive, and feels like friends. The food is exceptional, fantastic, delicious, and creative. Guests enjoy excellent meals with dishes like roasted beets, an amazing beet salad, a wonderful kale Caesar salad, steak frites, Steak Diane, seared chicken breast, beef, and duck. Desserts, like the classic Ishkabibble brownie, do not disappoint. The drink selection is impressive with very creative cocktails and delicious flavor mixtures. It offers very comfortable lodging, including thoughtfully made ADA accommodations. While there is no AC or TV in the rooms, the front porch overlooking the lake provides a perfect spot. It is a place where visitors are never disappointed and can't wait to visit again.
Dinner at Highland Lodge is always fresh, using local, seasonal ingredients. Dining on the porch or in the inn is a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. It's a real treat!

We’ve been coming to this part of Vermont for decades and staying with family. This year we stayed at the lodge and it was great! Quiet, comfortable room. Breakfast nice with good, strong coffee. Taco Monday and BBQ Tuesday was delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. We already reserved a cabin for next summer!
