The few time's I stop here the the price on shelf and at checkout are always different. Higher at checkout. Most items don't have prices on them. Great little spot, Plan on spending more than the shelf price which is already higher than most stores prices. Take pictures of the shelf price to save time at check out. Side note prices here are higher than NYC so budget for that. Great store, expensive and great at the same time.

We stopped in for some snacks and deli food. Well stocked and fast checkout. Closes at 8 PM. Would stop in again and recommend to others.

Went in for sandwiches and the only have premade, they don't make to order. $9 for a roast beef that's only got a little meat on it. Didn't buy anything. Very limited premade sandwiches at 2pm

Store is managed by incompetent airheads. Called to see if they had a specific item, spoke to their "service department" rep who assured me they carried the specific item and that it was in stock. Drove over to get it, only to find out they didn't have it. Found "service department" rep at front of store, eating something and yacking away with some visiting friend, stood their for a minute before a cashier told her she had a customer. Very unprofessional attitude. Eat your cookie, or whatever, and visit with your friends on your own time. Also, their adjoining cafe has terrible overpriced food. There used to be a wonderful store called Singleton's just up the road, with wonderful service and a great selection of meats and deli sandwiches, but then, for whatever reason, the town of Quechee permitted Jake's Market to horn in and eventually run Singleton's out of business. Singleton's was 5 stars, but if I could give Jake's 0 stars, I most definitely would.

Omg!! I loved this market. I found way too much, and it was kind of expensive, but it was a great pit stop to refill the cooler on our vacation. Found everything we needed for a charcuterie.

Great little place to grab groceries! They have a great selection and all of the essentials, including locally grown procure (I got a bag of organic pink lady apples) and pastries. It’s connected to the Skinny Pancake so you can grab breakfast or a cappuccino if you shop in the morning!

Jake’s is a perfect place to get great local food and groceries. Fantastic service and selection. Avoid the big box grocery and come here instead.

The owner has done a great job with this vintage VT market stocking it full for locals and visitors alike with everything you need! A wide selection of craft beers, wines and baked goods, too!

Awesome they have so much more stuff than I thought for a little market. I would have bought avocados but I couldn't see a price and I was afraid they were three bucks each, which in my mind, they're not worth buying after being shipped to the east coast unless they're more or less a dollar each.

Nice market good selection of foods that border on high end with some common household names mixed in. Some prepared foods available and they're good. Wine section well stocked with some high end selections available. Great beer section with walk in. A "little bit of everything" at far right of store. A little pricey but worth it.

Hard working, pleasant staff. Large selection and variety of grocery items. Of particular note FOAM Brewing beers. I highly recommend this market.

I spend SOOOOO much money here! They do not accept EBT. The food is usually amazing but today they didn't have any chopsticks for the sushi and the vegetable spring rolls had a big black hair on them and when I tried to tell the cashier about it he couldn't understand what I was saying.

A smallish but upscale market which features a selection of food that can satisfy a foodie ... this is a great place to get deli salads to go. They weren't making sandwiches when I was there (which is too bad), but the selection of food they did have met my needs well.Quechee and Woodstock are upscale towns with lots of tourists in the fall, many from New York or Boston. This is a market where they'll find what they're looking for. It's not a big grocery store, more like a medium sized upscale market with pleasant and capable staff, and high quality food products.Too bad their deli department isn't staffed to make sandwiches -- I would expect that they would have been great.
