The Quechee General Store is a Vermont-style tourist stop filled with interesting items. It is a really nice place to walk around for a few minutes. The store is known for its excellent cheese selection, where knowledgeable and friendly staff offer samples and helpful recommendations. Many visitors are impressed with the flavorful, well-priced cheese to take home. The large parking lot is convenient. Upstairs, the Vermont Toy Museum is worth a look, though it feels unchanged for years. It is an excellent place for a rest stop during a journey.
