“I purchased two Champlain classic bowls, both seconds during the Labor Day Sale. The medium was in Walnut and large in Cherry. I considered both in Walnut thinking darker color might more forgiving in imperfections etc however since I love Cherry and pricing difference was considerate, I made my final decision accordingly. I should have stayed with Walnut for both as the medium bowl is close to perfect while the large Cherry has many noticeable imperfections and more than I’m happy with. I did place my order in the final hour of the sale so perhaps the last were the not the best of the bunch. I will use wood oil and see if that helps and hope for the best. Seconds and final sale means always taking a chance. Next time I’ll save up and pay full price with option for exchange. Thanks for the opportunity to send this review and hope it helps others in decision making.

Update a week later: I called AP Bowls to ask what my options might be for an exchange of the Cherry bowl mentioned above. I was helped over several phone calls and photos shared by two members of their team with patience, compassion and willingness to find the right bowl for me. Within a week, I shipped back the original and promptly received a new beautiful bowl. It now sits on my kitchen island and makes me smile every day. Thank you again for the best customer service :)”

“7.18.22 What an unexpected surprise as this place is a country store, so you can buy food, VT made maple syrup, wines, jams, etc and its next door to the antiques and the VT Toy Museum. Place is very clean, friendly staff throughout, ample parking, lots of choices for everything. The store was great. The antiques (not my thing) looked interesting, and the toy museum was amazing.”

“Today, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon a charming little gift shop on our way back from a skiing trip in Killington. I was amazed to find that every single item in this store was like a masterpiece, beautifully crafted and exquisitely presented. The variety of items was immense, and each one was captivating enough to make me stop and take a closer look. I even wondered what kind of person possesses such exquisite taste to make every little thing so perfect. This curiosity was answered when a kind elderly gentleman greeted us and demonstrated the charm of a voice-controlled electric crystal ball. Had it been daytime, I probably would have happily spent 2 to 3 hours browsing. My boyfriend also repeatedly mentioned that it was evident how much care and effort the owner puts into running this store. It's a pity that this gem of a shop doesn't have any reviews on Google, as it's hard to imagine such a treasure hidden in an unassuming place. So, I'm writing this review in a rush to show some love and support for the elderly owner, and I hope his quaint shop gains the attention it deserves!”

“Stunning glassware, there's a catwalk that you can go on and watch the workers go from a global of molten glassware to a vase or champagne glass. The factory is hot when you walk in. The glassware can be expensive.”

“I am a native resident in Quechee. Been in the area most of my life since 1955. I frequently visit the Quenched General Store. Especially to purchase Cabot products. Especially the cheeses. I am always greeted by smiling staff members as soon as I walk in the door. They are pleasant, helpful and professional. They all seem to have great knowledge of all the products offered in the store. All of the stores in the mall have equally skilled staff. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Quechee take the time to stop and look around. Please don't forget to also visit the Alpacas out in back of the mall. They love the attention.”

“Our tour group stopped here to enjoy the vista and get some ice cream that our tour director kept talking about. AND, it was the best ever since childhood ice cream by Giffords in Arlington, Va. the ice cream is also Gifford, and is a cousin!!!”
