Mike's Store and Deli, located in Hartland near the highway, is a community-focused stop known for its fantastic, delicious food. One of the best kept secrets in Vermont. One of the best beer collections anywhere. Homemade donuts. Excellent homemade sandwiches of all kinds, and the best fried chicken one can find. The staff is great and Mike’s is a meeting place for the whole community.

At the Irving station just a mile off the highway - don’t be deceived by the grubby outside, the food is delicious - made to order sandwiches and fried chicken, and the people there are super nice. Only restroom is portapottie in the parking lot, which is chilly in the winter!
