Sprague & Son Sugarhouse is a true gem in the heart of Vermont’s maple country. It's the perfect spot if you’re craving an authentic maple experience. They offer delightful tours and tastings, and you can even try their 'Sugar-on-Snow' if you time it right. Plus, the variety of maple treats—like their candy, maple-coated nuts, and spreads—is just fantastic. It’s definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area and want to take some Vermont sweetness back home!

The best maple soft serve and don’t skip on the crunchies on top! We went twice during our weekend stay in the area. Also left with some maple syrup, everything was phenomenal!

Refused service to a disabled Navy veteran and his service dog. EXTREMELY rude and snarky.

Whether you're a local picking up snacks or a tourist looking for an authentic Vermont experience, this is the place to come. It's a cozy family run maple syrup shack with some of the best baked goods and eggs I've ever had. If you come in early spring you might see them making syrup in the store, but year round this place has delicious maple syrup, treats, and friendly people.

Stopped in as they were boiling sap so my nephew could see how everything was done. What a great decision we made to stop in. They explained the entire process from start to finish and let us up close to see and smell the sap during various stages. The syrup samples were out of this world! If you want to visit and experience maple syrup being made, you need to stop here. Bring your friends and your kids! You won't find friendlier people anywhere!

Very quaint sugar house. Karen was very informative about the sugaring process and demonstrated the cooling of the sugar for us. We were able to sample the different syrups and the maple spread, which were delicious. Took home the maple spread, maple chocolate bark, dark robust syrup, and maple coated cashews!

While my wife and I were staying at The White House Inn in Wilmington, I was asking around about a place for Vermont Maple Syrup. Sprague & Sons was recommended however it was a November Sunday morning and no one knew for sure if it was going to be open. So the wife and I made the short drive and glad we did. The owner and his son were both there on that cold November Sunday morning. The owner opened his door to us and we had a great conversation. We left with plenty of large jugs of maple syrup to give to our family. Also bought some of the muffins however when we left, we didn’t get far before we devoured them! We also bought a container of the maple crunchies. Almost a month later, and we enjoy them with vanilla ice cream and Redi Whip! Not sure what we’ll do when we run out?? Maybe take another 14 hour trip to buy more!! :) We can’t wait to go back for more of everything. This place is definitely worth to stop at anytime of the year!

Super cool old sugar house. The woman/ wife who owns it was very nice and gave us an excellent rundown. She educated us about the process of making maple syrup and maple products. She could tell I was very interested and even gave me an antique spile for tapping the trees! They also had super yummy treats baked by grandma herself?

This is the best place in the Deerfield Valley to buy your syrup. They make it themselves there, but even better, are all the fresh, homemade goodies Karen makes. We always take anyone who visits us there.

The maple soft serve ice cream with maple crunchies on top was absolutely incredible on a hot July day. This little old sugar house has so much charm and character. I'm so happy we stopped here on our way home from camping. We also picked up some maple covered pecans that are very addicting. Definitely recommend stopping here for a treat

Tasted two types of maple syrup and the owner is very friendly and informative. Ice cream machine wasn’t working and they didn’t have the smaller size of the maple syrup unfortunately but definitely worth stopping by
