Great company over all and friendly service over the phone. They replaced my water heater a couple years ago and I appreciated the fast service. On the other hand, for the passed two years the propane delivery driver has not been leaving the receipt upon completing the delivery. I've asked nicely every time to give him the message, but it hasn't happened yet. I am hoping this can be resolved. Other than that, great service and reliable. Thank you.

I have had a couple of different houses in Vermont so I have used a couple of different providers of propane and all of them were challenging to work with until I switched to Cota and Cota. They are always willing to take my call, spend time answering my questions and there is NO PRESSURE - they support whatever I think is the right decision for me.The other thing I find so amazing about this business is that exemplary customer service is in every employee. The person answering the phone, delivering your propane or servicing the furnace are all polite and considerate.Two quick examples: I had signed my prebuy contract and thought I was at the office in Bellows Falls to put it in the after hours box but I couldn't find the drop box. I saw a gentleman working on his motorcycle in the shop and asked him and he said this isn't the office but just give it to me when I wrap up here I will drop it at the office for you. Off duty and still serving the customer. My second story is that I purchased the maintenance contract and I noticed that one of my circulating pumps was making an unhealthy noise - so I mentioned in when the repair person showed up. He said he would check it out. Shortly after he came up from the basement and said it needed to be replaced. I said OK, then asked how much and when? He said it is part of your contract and right now as it is one of the parts I carry in the truck. I still can't believe it.I can't recall ever writing a review before now, but I feel Cota and Cota are too good to not spread the word.Service: Heating system repair

Tucker and the Cota & Cota team moved swiftly to install new tanks and hook up to our generator. They were affordable and professional. 10/10, would propane with them again.

Have used Cota and Cota for at least 20 years, probably more like 60, and never had a problem. They figure out when to deliver based on your pattern of usage and show up when you need them.

I can not recommend this team more! They deserve more than 5 stars;)They are extremely responsive and knowledgable but whatsmore, they are thoughtful and empathetic to circumstances that arise and when you are in need of support in this beautiful but cold weather.When, most companies said they couldn't help me for weeks...they came the same day, fixed the heating situation and even provided additional resources for other issues I had going on in my home.I can't thank the team enough!You should use them if you can.JennaServices: Heating system installation

Delivery Drivers are top notch, however customer service (over the phone) is extremely lacking and unfriendly. Almost let us run out of propane after not delivering until 5 days and 4 phone calls after initial order.

I really wasn't happy with my experience with this company. I simply needed a propane delivery which apparently for these guys involves a whole inspection process. They told me my water heater was not vented correctly and the lines to my stove were installed incorrectly. Not true. My house was built in 1991, was inspected when we purchased in 2015 and inspected by plumber qualified in gas line installations. Our previous gas company (Suburban Propane) never did any of this and never mentioned any problem. My personal opinion is they are using technical requirements to up-sell a bunch of unnecessary services. Thanks, but no thanks.

We have been using this fuel and plumbing business for over 13 years. We will continue to stay a loyal customer. This past fall we had a lightning strike which blew out a well pump. There are three rental properties that fed off that same well. I was scared that our tenants would be hugely inconvenienced with lack of water for days. This was NOT the case at all. Rod Miller and his plumbing team were there within 2 hours to access the damage. And replaced the pump and restored water by end of day. You can only imagine our relief. He even went above and beyond by providing accurate documentation to help with the insurance claim. Thank you Cota & Cota!
