Johnson Woolen Mill is still going strong after all these years. Since my time at Johnson College (1997), it has gotten a new owner and a facelift. Beautiful quality items. Not at all cluttered but a bit pricey.

Made a trip specifically to shop and tour the factory -- and had a great tour by Lex Lee who covered everything from history to future. Met the sewing team, toured the entire facility and learned a great deal. And shopped -- can't beat the quality of the items made right there. And the flexibility ranging from shifting tour time to customizing apparel for the exact fit and design desired. And far from least -- the exceptional staff who provided just the right amount of assistance all day long!

The quality of the products made by JWM is on a different level. I am just impressed every time I pick up something I own from JWM, it's truly heirloom quality goods, built to last a few lifetimes.

I purchased the reversible jacket this winter and was plum smitten by it. After about a month and a half of daily wear, the stitching loosened in one of the pockets creating a small hole. Fearing I'd eventually lose a pocket, I reached out to the store and spoke with Alexalee who immediately set out to remedy the issue. She was terrific to talk to and very thorough and the company was quick to sew the pocket properly and send the Jacket back to me. Thank you, Johnson Woolen Mills for standing behind your product and taking care of your customers.

We can’t recommend Johnson Woolen Mills enough. High quality products, amazing staff, friendly and clean environment! Today we added to our wool collection with a great new hunting jacket. They were all so generous. They gave our son a free plush sheep! We also received two toque hats!

I recently received my Jac Shirt, double front green wool, Johnson Wool Mill. The color is great, the material is great, the weight of the wool is great, and the customer service was outstanding! ... Only one small grape. The zipper is terrible, get real buttons!

Quality clothing and home goods. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. The store is unique and beautiful. A slice of American history and you feel that from the moment you walk through their doors.

Visiting the store was authentic and enjoyable. We ordered two jackets after leaving, including a custom one. Service was prompt and helpful and the products are great. I hope to wear this jacket for a long time!

Absolutely outstanding customer service! Had a product question prior to placing an order, and called the store but went to voicemail. Within a few minutes an employee called me back to help with my question, and was extremely professional, pleasant to deal with, and helpful. I placed the order as soon as I hung up the phone trusting the info they had provided, and have no doubt it will be of high quality. Best of all, their products are made in the USA, and I’m proud to support a company that supports US manufacturing and provides quality products with great service.

Had a chance to buy my first wool jacket from here and what a great experience. I need an alteration on the jacket and the owner was on premises and ensured the alteration was done immediately. I was bowled over on how kind and professional everyone was here. I don’t plan to go anywhere else but here for my wool needs.

I have only bought from this company online, but let me just say this brand is AMAZING!!! You will not find this quality anywhere these days. The fact that this place exists is seriously a miracle. Places like this are worth more than gold, and the fact that you can simply go online to order is a blessing. Thank you so much for supplying America with real clothing again. I plan to tour Vermont this year, and this store is going to be one of my first stops!!

We had company from out of state and at the last minute emailed to see if we could have a tour. Gene (one of the owners) got right back to us and we set up a time. I have to say our tour with Erin (one of the owners) was AMAZING! We have purchased from there several times in the past year and it was interesting to listen to the history and the future plans they have. We had no idea of the behind the scenes work areas etc. If you haven't been, you should take this tour. Great VT history and great products! Thank you Erin!
