Maplefields has changed from a welcoming, neighborhood family place to a more business-like environment with a transactional vibe. While the food remains good, the friendly atmosphere has shifted, and the store now feels filled with strangers just doing their jobs. The place is clean, and the self-checkout is convenient and quick, with a good selection of fruits, donuts, and snacks. Customers appreciate meeting people from different walks of life and enjoy buying lottery tickets and alcohol. However, some feel the store's original identity as a warm community spot is gone, replaced by a focus on profit and efficiency. Overall, it remains a place to shop with good service, but the friendly, personal touch has diminished.
This is a good place to grab a cold drink or something to eat/ snack on.

Normal selection of brewed coffee and hot food. Multiple clean restrooms. Plenty of free off street parking. Good place to stop for fuel and a bite to eat. Never had a problem here.
