Basin Sports is the oldest business in Killington, founded in 1958. It is known for having a nice selection and a larger, more diverse variety of outdoor gear, apparel, and accessories than any other area retailer. The staff are consistently described as the nicest people ever—patient, informative, generous, and kind. They provide great advice and are very helpful in finding the right gear, from skis and boots to snowboard bindings, often giving good deals and renting out good equipment. Customers report that the employees take time to figure out what matches a person's style, help beginners, and expertly set up equipment. While one visit noted a delay in service, another highlighted a staff member who multitasked expertly to save the experience. These guys are the best!!! Friendly knowledgeable and patience. Demo for 4 days, thanks to their guidance found an amazing pair of skis for me and my wife! Could not be happier, will only go to them from now on!!!!!
